Hello guys,Is there a way to update all hosts or at least a hostgroup from snmpv2 to snmpv3?Is difficult to take one by one especially having multiple hosts.thanks,Marius

Cannot access the Centreon web interface

When I type the IP address into my browser it goes to the centreon page where it loads but it loads endlessly and nothing happens except an error message. Here is the message "Symfony\Component\Router::getCompiledRoutes():Return value must be of type array, Int returned". I have attached the image with the error. I tried searching online to see if anyone had this error but to no avail.

Remote Pollers

Hi probably a bit of a noob question here as historically I’ve been using Centreon for the last 7 years but only ever needed a single server.I have a requirement to monitor a clients infrastructure but they don’t have direct access to the central server so, as far as I can tell, I can just deploy a remote poller and have it report back to the central server (I only want one place to login and view all the graphs and systems status etc). The central server would not be able to talk directly to the client equipment but the remote poller would be installed on the client site and communicate back over the internet. Is this the correct approach?  Thanks in advance

Bonjour à tous, Je comprends que Dashboard est amené à remplacer le module Custom View. Après avoir tester Dashboard sous la version 23.10, je vois plusieurs fonctionnalités importantes manquantes :La taille minimum des widgets est trop grosse, cela empêche de produire un Dashboard d’une page pour des systèmes complexes comme un SGBDR Les widgets n’affichent pas la période de rafraichissement, on devrait avoir dans un coin supérieur ou inférieur du widget une information comme “24h”, “1h”, “2j”, etc … Les widgets Single Metrics devraient pouvoir avoir comme couleur de fond, le statut du métric Une info-bulle serait intéressante pour pouvoir un descriptif détaillé du widget L’échelle doit pouvoir être paramétrée au niveau de l’axe des coordonnées La légende Minimum, Maximum, Moyenne n’est pas toujours pertinente Les graphiques devraient pouvoir être plein, empilé, en barre, etc … On devrait pouvoir mettre les unités sur les ordonnées (ex : 250 ms, 300 ms) On devrait pouvoir ajouter un c

(Execute command failed) => host down

Hello!I'm using Centreon 23.04.9 on AlmaLinux 9.2, with a machine equipped with a 16-core CPU and 32 GB of RAM. For the past two months (without having made any configuration changes in Centreon or my network), I've been experiencing the following issue: I receive host down notifications every n minutes, and in the info section, I see "(Execute command failed)" (there is no further information in the service/host details). While the service or host remains in this state, I execute the command on the server and receive a response. After a few minutes, they return to ok/up status, only to happen again (it's not always the same devices or services). I have searched this forum and others, but I haven't found anything similar or a solution. As an additional piece of information, I don't have it set up in a cluster, and I have 2200 hosts and 6200 services, in case that helps.Any ideas on where I can look or does anyone know a solution to this problem? Fresh Install 24.04 - No graph displays

Hello,I’m new user of Centreon, and i just install the last version 24.04 of centreon from official documentation.I just add a host with some services that are provided with template  After exporting the configuration file, Services monitoring are working but no graph are display….Could someone help me to solve the issue? perhaps i’m missing to select an option for graph??  Regards

Pollers attached to a remote server got deleted on the Central Web GUI

Hi All. We have a fresh install 24.04 version and the pollers attached to a remote server got deleted on the Central GUI. And when I try to register again the pollers on the remote server. I got an error.Error:2024-05-16 11:36:57+02:00 - ERROR - http://10.xx.xx.xx:80: {"message":"A platform using the name : 'GDC1PollerA' or address : '10.xx.xx.xx' already exists"}I tried to delete also the Remote server attached to the central. but when we try to add it again. We got an error on the wizard - “Generating Export Files failed” the remote server is added on the central but the remote server gorgoned config file has an error on the central server.  Let me know if there is a workaround for this. or it is much better for a clean install? Appreciate your response on this. Thank you.

Debian Local Poller - UNKNOW Plugins (Execute Command Failed) After migration

SNMPv3 APC UPS - Execute Command Failed

I have set up SNMPv3 for most of my APC UPS´s. The commands executed by the APC Plugin Pack are working in the console logged in as root or as centreon-engine, but will not work on the GUI. I receive the error text Status Unknown “Execute command failed”Am I missing permissions on the script? Which User is used to excute the scripts?Script is located under:/usr/lib/centreon/plugins//centreon_ups_apc.plThanks in advance.

Authentification SAML Error Contact does not exist

Hi,I’m meeting an issue, I configured the SAML authentification with my IdP Cyberark. The redirection on my IdP is fine but when I’m trying to authenticate i got the error Contact does not exist.But I can see the new user/contact created in the the centreon list (I use the Auto import users fonctionnality). Hi team,I’m trying to monitor 2 services with TRAPS.Both services are using the same OID: .1.3.6.1.4.1.6889.2.2.1.2.0.29  => service down.1.3.6.1.4.1.6889.2.2.1.2.0.30 => service up To understand which service is down, the argument $5 send the number of service (Integer): 1 => Voicemail4 => OneX Portal   I don’t know how to use advanced matching rule to output the argument $5 for each service. I tried that but it’s not working fine:   Thank you for help

Hello, i trying to install a new central Centreon on RHEL9, i’m new on redhat but in this documentation (https://docs.centreon.com/fr/docs/installation/installation-of-a-central-server/using-packages/#pr%C3%A9requis) there is a command which doesn’t work :dnf config-manager --set-enabled codeready-builder-for-rhel-9-rhui-rpmsit’s failed because there no repo with this name, i thnink it’s du to https://access.redhat.com/solutions/6970108 If it’s the case , it seem like is not resolve yet, do Centreon still work in redhat 9 ? Regard

/etc/centreon-bi/config.properties has a parameter display_sql_requests, when it is set to true where are SQL queries supposed to be logged?I have checked all logs in /var/log/centreon-bi/ and I can't find any queries being logged in any of these filescbis.outcentreon-bi-backup-reporting-server-db.logcentreon-bi-backup-reporting-server-files.logcentreonBIETL.logdataRetentionManager.logdiagnostic.logrebuildAllEvents.logrebuildAllPerf.logI need to log sql queries for troubleshooting.

23.10 Broker documentation disparency

23.10 broker documentation for Unified SQL output statesunified-sql-type outputs have the following parameters:.. Connections count Number of connections to the database maintained by this output. This allows broker to write data in parallel using up to 3 connections: 1: all the database traffic goes through only one connection. It is fine for small platforms. 2: one connection is dedicated to the traffic (BULK INSERT statements) towards the data_bin and logs tables and the second one handles the rest. 3: two connections are dedicated to the traffic (BULK INSERT statements) towards the data_bin and logs tables and the third one handles the rest. We recommend this setting for large platforms. But looking at actual 23.10 broker configuration UI for Unified SQL I don’t see “Connections count” named setting. Display of the detailed output (ie: long output)

Hi,I’ve been asked (and asked here) what was the status of the implementation of the Nagios standard macros in Centreon. I got no answer yet and manage to make an ad-hoc command to help me to have an idea of the subject. Doing that I noticed an unrelated problem, which is the subject of this post.In the legacy pages one could access the whole detailed output, whatever is the length of its lines (even if it is needed to scroll horizontally for long lines) : But I noticed that it was not anymore possible with the new interface, even if enlarging the side panel at its maximum width, the end of the longest lines is not visible at all : ​​​It’s Centreon Web 22.10.15, I can’t test newer version at the moment.Is it something we can expect to be fixed. Actually I didn’t have the case apart of this one, but user may ask me to have some information in the detailed output, and maybe no one complained, but it’d because they all still use the legacy pages… :/

Absence of empty lines in the detailed output in the new Resource Status page

Hi,While in the legacy pages the detailed output of the check was properly displayed, this is definitively not the case in the new interface.Empty lines are simply squeezed. I suppose the idea is to gain some place but I doubt this si a good idea: if a plugin has empty lines in its detailed output it is obviously for reason. They should be displayed as is.
