[UPDATED] Deprecated views will be retired [in an upcoming] major versionProduct updates

[UPDATE AS OF 02/12/2024]As we are progressing towards next major release and still receiving feedback for required features in Resource Status we have decided to take a step back and NOT retire deprecated views in the Spring 24 version.We are planning the Fall version and will prioritize those enhancements in order to be in a position to then retire those views.Stay tuned and continue sending your valuable feedback![END OF UPDATE] It had been announced a long time ago that the plan was to remove the legacy host and services views as those are now replaced with Resource Status. This was visible both in the documentation as well as in the product.    Up until now, those views have still been shipped and it has been possible to enable them through Administration menus.We’ve gathered feedback from those of you who still use them as you find that Resource Status breaks your usual workflows or does not fit with your user’s skills. Even though Centreon 23.10 isn't available just yet (coming

MAP --- Using Media from other platform

Hello The Watch,I try to copy/paste icons from Draw.io to Centreon Map Editor.First, everything seems to be OK ! I can edit the stencil with the height, width, style,…  But, when click the ‘’save’’ button : It disappears !!!! 😭Does somedy know the issue ?Thank you.

Centreon Graph logs export error

Hi Centreon Support Team,Currently we have an issue with exporting graph logs it gives me blank page and nothing exportsOnly solution way is to split its charts and it exports successfully but it creates additional work for us because it is splitting charts. Centreon Version:Centreon 21.10.13

Graphics partially work

Hello, I configured a fresh install of Centreon version 23.10.6 few months ago and I'm experiencing a strange problem with the service graphs.Some of them stop filling up after a random time but information collected are still correct, only the graph is impacted. SNMP v2c and v3 with a snmp user have been configured and tested on Windows and Linux to contact monitored servers. This happens randomly on Windows or Linux, sometimes in the same subnet (so not a firewall issue), sometimes not, and randomly on SNMP v2 or v3. On the same monitored host, not all services are impacted.When I restart the poller, graphics works for about 1 or 2 hours, then stop filling up.Does anyone have any ideas?Thank you in advance,Regards.

[WSUS plugin] - Unknown: 500 read Timeout

Bonjour The Watch,Depuis quelques semaines je suis confronté à un problème épineux et je ne trouve pas de réponse satisfaisante, ou alors je m’y prends mal 😅.Je cherche à superviser un Serveur WSUS pour obtenir ce que le plugin permet (https://docs.centreon.com/fr/pp/integrations/plugin-packs/procedures/applications-wsus-nsclient/)Or, a priori l’installation du plugin côté Poller est OK. probleme installation centreon

Bonjour , je suis nouveau dans l'utilisation de centreon. Je souhaite la tester pour la déployer chez 1 client si elle fonctionne .je rencontre 1 problème pour me connecter au serveur afin d'accéder à la page de configuration. je suis sur la version 23h10 sur VMware (format machine virtuelle). Quand je me connecte avec mon ip ; admin/ Centreon!123 ça ne fonctionne pas . Ensuite j'ai le message utilisateur bloqué .une autre question: Comment mettre l’ip en fixe ? Merci d'avance pour votre aide .

How to add Host category in host detail panel?

Hi, i have two centreons, one with version 22.10.1 and the other with version 23.10.9.When i want see the detail panel of one host in the 22.10 i can see the host category:  But in the version 23.10.9 with the same host i cant see his categories:  How can I add the Host categorie view?

new poller error

Hello,we have transfered about 100 hosts on a secondary poller and we had data base and latency errors ( the poller was red )We had revert the operation but the poller still have some latency problemsI checked the logs in centengine.log and found several errors of this type :[1711543772] [54080] Error: Service check command execution failed: could not create process '/usr/lib/centreon/cplugin/centreon_plugins.pl': No such file or directory do you have any tips ?

Retention des graph' forcé à 180 jours

Bonjour, J’ai un bug étrange, je souhaite conserver les graph’ sur une durée d’au moins 1 an pour l’ensemble des sondes présentes sur Centreon. Pour ça j’ai bien spécifié 365 jours initialement dans les options sauf que dans la pratique ça ne fonctionne pas ou pas longtemps.En regardant quelques post sur le forum j’ai vu qu’il fallait reconstruire la BDD RRD, ça ok. Sauf que ça marche pendant la reconstruction mais pas une fois fini. Exemple 1 : Avant reconstruction Exemple 2 : Pendant la reconstruction Exemple 3 : Après reconstruction Comme on peu le voir dans l’exemple 2, la date de départ des premières infos est bonne. J’ai mis en place ce Centreon en Juillet dernier. Mais une fois fini ça revient a 180 jours d’affichage.J’ai tout mis à jour, j’étais en 23.04.06 (Debian 11) avant, après 23.04.16 et même problème. Puis les captures ont été faite sur le 23.10.10, et c’est pareil. J’ai rechangé la valeur de rétention en passant de 365 à 380 dans tous les champs ou c’était à 365 pour êt

Gather all palo alto interfaces graph

Hello everyone,  I need to have a graph where i see all the bandwidth of every site. To do so i monitored all the palo alto interfaces of every sites to get the traffic in and out of every interfaces.  My question is can i gather all the graph of all interfaces to have two lines on the graph that is the result of every in and out traffic. I'm also interested in other ideas to achieve my goal.

Wildcard in Service exclusion

Hello,I am monitoring a Windows server with NSClient++ RestAPI, and the "Services-Auto" service reports: GoogleUpdaterInternalService124.0.6337.0=stopped (auto), GoogleUpdaterService124.0.6337.0=stopped (auto)I want to exclude them, but the issue is that each time they are updated, the version number increases, and the name changes.I tried to make an exclusion with a wildcard based on what I found here and there, but it doesn't work.Is it possible to make an exclusion with a wildcard? If so, what is the correct syntax?Thanks in advance.

Centreon GUI: Regex based Threshold not valid

Hi everybody,I’m trying hard to make a threshold working in my service template without any success…Everything is ok from CLI:/centreon_aws_cloudwatchlogs_api.pl --plugin=cloud::aws::cloudwatchlogs::plugin --mode=get-logs --custommode='awscli' […….]  --critical-status='%{message} =~ /error/i' But from gui, the Threshold is not valid :CRITICALSTATUS = %{message\} =~ /error/iI tried to put \\ before every special character (\\%\\{message\\} \\=\\~ \\/error\\/i), but the problem persists… Does anyone has an idea ?Thank you for your help.Kind regards,Alexandre

Change the host status if some associated service is in warning or critical

Good morning, I would need that if any of three services associated with the host is in warning or critical state, the host changes its state. Now if any or all of the associated services are in critical or warning the host continues to appearing in green. Many thanks

How delete old perfdata

Hello the Centreon community…I use a Centreon (IT-100) on witch I have A Windows host monitored. Temporarilly we added 32 CPU cores then return to 12 CPU. But all perfdata (for the 32 CPU) are still displayed on the graph with N/A value.Is it possible to purge the no more used perfdata of a service and show only the 12 CPU core  ? Best regards

Hello,I configured multiple services check with an interval of 1 minute. The performance data are available but their representations in the graphs are still with a 5 minutes interval.Is it possible to do such a thing?Is it possible to parameter graph to display data under 1 minute?

Hi,I need to deal with this kind of return  from my MSSQL query: “IDF - OK”i tried to use a regex expression, of course i have read this:How to play with Regex - Part I | Community (centreon.com)How to play with Regex - Part II | Community (centreon.com) so i tried : --critical-string='%{value_field} ne "^(.*OK.*)" 'it’s seem to be ok there: regex101: build, test, and debug regex so for now i got a wrong return:CRITICAL: IDF - OK I also try to return multiple rows with a single query but I did not achieve to print a key_field and a value_field in a same return.  any idea are welcome.

Interpretation HTML dans l'output

Bonjour à tous,Mon client a un script custom qui à un output en texte avec des balises HTML.Dans la génération précédente de Centreon, on modifiait le escape_html_tags dans Cgi.cfg et cela fonctionnait. L’output de Centreon interprétait les balises HTML correctement ( gras, retour à la ligne, etc..).Dans Centreon 23.10, il n’y a plus de cgi.cfg.. et donc un output HTML qui n’est pas compris.Avez vous une idée pour résoudre le problème?
