The old “Monitoring  >  Status Details  >  Services” nicely handles the short output (Status information column). In case output doesn’t fit the length of this column it wraps the content dynamically to show all of it.

The new “Monitoring  >  Resource Status” doesn’t handle this the same way. Which might be quite inconvenient. It just cut the content at some point. Even in case where there is still place to display it.

Would be nice to have it working as it is done in the old page.

Moreover the service details pop-in for should indicate clearly where the extended info section (long_output) starts. Now this distinction is not visible - short_output and long_output are just displayed as one.

These are some small things which keep us still away from upgrading to 24.10 and later releases.

Hi @Jaroslaw Kesy, I’m not sure that is a good idea to fit column width with the size of the output but ok to remove white space.

For the second you want to have 2 tiles or keep one but with an empty line to separate both?

Hi @Laurent ,

Ad 1. I was rather thinking that the Status column will behave like in the old form. It has fixed width as well (I assume) but it wraps the status info text when exceeds the length of the column width. The column width stays the same but its height increases.
Ad 2. Definitely 2 tiles with the clear separation and titles “Status information” and “Extended status information” so there is clear distinction - like it is in the old form.

Hi @Jaroslaw Kesy I’m not sure that is a good idea to extend the size (width) of the Information column or to increase its height. The goal is to present the maximum amount of information from all resources, and the detail panel is there to present all of the information for a resource.

For the second point, you right, two tile can be good.
