Legacy MAP Retirement [Updated 09/30/24]

[Update 09/30/24] This update confirms that MAP Legacy will be retired with 24.10 This is an announcement that Centreon will retire Centreon MAP Legacy starting next version 24.10. The diagramming and mapping functionality referred to as Centreon MAP is currently shipped in two flavors:MAP Legacy which relies on a client application running on a desktop to create/edit maps MAP Web, a web client fully embedded into the Centreon user interfaceThe following only relates to Centreon on-premise installations as Centreon Cloud already runs MAP Web. Given the change in technology and the migration necessary to move from MAP Legacy to MAP Web, Centreon has been continuing full support of MAP Legacy until now.With hundreds of production platforms now running MAP Web, we believe it is time to consider deprecating MAP Legacy. Centreon will end support of MAP Legacy with the next major version of Centreon: 24.10.MAP Legacy will continue being shipped and supported on 23.04, 23.10 and 24.04 accordi

[UPDATED] Deprecated views will be retired [in an upcoming] major versionProduct updates

[UPDATE AS OF 02/12/2024]As we are progressing towards next major release and still receiving feedback for required features in Resource Status we have decided to take a step back and NOT retire deprecated views in the Spring 24 version.We are planning the Fall version and will prioritize those enhancements in order to be in a position to then retire those views.Stay tuned and continue sending your valuable feedback![END OF UPDATE] It had been announced a long time ago that the plan was to remove the legacy host and services views as those are now replaced with Resource Status. Graphs in negative but value in positive

Hello,Since updating to 24.10 (via packages on Debian 12), some of my graphs are in negative.The values received are in positive.It includes CPU, Memory, Storage and some other counters.RAM DiskCounter When you display them in the performance page, they are in positive : I tried deleting and rebuilding graphs to no success.The graphs templates and curves are still the default ones I think. Here is the default curve :CPU curves, Memory, etc are similar (invert is never ticked). I tried ticking invert : Does anyone have any idea ?Thanks !

24.10.2 dashboard grid view - aknowledged services not filtered

Hi,We just updated to the version 24.10.2, and started to use the dashboards just now, we were (and are) still using custom view for most of our issues We created a dashboard for our services, and we can see that the aknowledged ones appear in the grid view, and I can’t find a workaround to get rid of them. I found this post for the previous version (problem with the 24.4.4, patched in 24.4.5) I looked around in the new DbReadResourceRepository.php file, it look like the filter is already set to resources.enabled = 1 (lines 184 and 462), but aknowledged services still show in the view.  I’m not against a workaround if there is no solution yet, I didn’t found a related issue in the recent posts (24.10 and up), but thanks to anyone that can help us start with those dashboard views =)

Automation of Map via API

Hello,I am currently working on the automatic creation of Business Activities, respecting specific groupings to display these Business Activities on maps and provide an application-specific view suitable for sharing or displaying on screens for all critical applications.To achieve this, I use CLAPI to automatically create Business Activities, specifying only the server type (e.g., DB, APP, RDS, etc.).I now also have access to the Map API and have added functionality to my script for automatically creating views tailored to my applications and Business Activities, based on a file provided to the script.However, I am currently stuck when trying to add Business Activities to the map using the Map API. network::fortinet::fortigate::restapi::plugin licences and health error

Hi,I have a problem when I try to use plugin: network::fortinet::fortigate::restapi::pluginModes system and HA work nicely.But with licences mode I get error:UNKNOWN: Cannot decode response (add --debug option to display returned content)and with health mode I get UNKNOWN: Not an ARRAY reference at /usr/lib/centreon/plugins//centreon_fortinet_fortigate_restapi.pl line 9452. Could it be that Fortigate newer software causes this?

[DASHBOARD] --- Single Metrics values displays 0 (Centreon 24.04

Hello The Watch,I have a WSUS Dashboard that is supposed to show me various single metrics reported by NSClient++Below, we can see that the host's service values are correctly taken into account by the poller.OK: Computers Up-to-date: 242, Needing Updates: 12, With Update Errors: 0, Not Contacted: 261, Unassigned: 1 | 'computers_up_to_date'=242;;;0; 'computers_needing_updates'=12;;;0; 'computers_with_update_errors'=0;;;0; 'computers_not_contacted'=261;;;0; 'computers_unassigned'=1;;;0;But when I create the DashboardAll values are zero!An open case on the support side.Thanks for your help.Best regards,Vincent (Nantes Métropole)

Playlists with public link

Traffic service counters with connector Linux SSH returns values in bytes/s and not in bits/s.

Hello,I'm a little confused about this situation and I don't know how to correct it.The documentation for the connector indicates that it returns the results of network traffic counters in b/s, but in reality, it returns in Bytes/s, that devirtualizes the service graphs. Do you know how I can correct this situation? Problème Tableau de bord

Bonjour, j’ai un soucis sur les tableaux de bord.En effet, j’ai réinstallé une debian 12 avec centreon 24.10.1. J’ai juste créé 15 Hosts avec 2 services chacun.Quand j’affiche dans le tableau de bord, cela reste bloqué à 10 hosts et j’ai le double de services (60). par contre quand je clique dessus, j’ai bien le bon nombre dans le statut des ressources. Comment résoudre ce bug ? merci

Adding labels to widget or display text metrics

Hello everyone and thank you for your attention,there is a few issues that i encounter since some time with my dashboard experience in Centreon.For context, the service i’m having the most problem with is a custom service that returns the 10 users that use the most cpu on one server.the service uses a script and returns each time 10 metrics with this format *user1*_cpu = 6% ; *user2* … The problem happens when i want to display this in a graph or any other display tool, because my metrics are dynamic, each time it runs the metrics names change as well (if there is a change in which user uses more cpu).For some time now my solution was to manually add all the new metrics in the graph until all of the users were covered but a graph with 90 metrics or so is very unstable even if there is only 10 active at a time.All that i want is to display the 10 users that are returned by my service and the value associated with it but i can’t find a good solution.I’ve had a few idea on how to solve th

Empty graphs export CSV on different user

Hello, When I export CSV graph from Performance from my Administrator account, i have a good CSV export and no error in  /var/log/centreon/centreon-web.log but when I do this with another account, it generates an error in /var/log/centreon/centreon-web.log and I have an empty CSV export : [2024-10-02T10:53:26+0200] [ERROR] [Core\Metric\Application\UseCase\DownloadPerformanceMetrics\DownloadPerformanceMetrics:108]: Service not found {"host_id":36025,"service_id":477985}The user has the view and the rights even on the host and the service.

Issue with Dashboard ressources search bar / host

Hello,In the Dashboard, when I search for a host in the Dataset selection / Host field, I don’t find what I’m looking for. I can type “PAB-s,” but the search bar still displays hosts starting with "A." Even when I scroll down to "P," I can’t see the exact host I’m looking for.For your information, the host is up, and I have some widgets working perfectly on it in Custom Views. The search bar works fine for me in other menus/pages. (even with hundreds of items).
