Hi,

Following a migration from Alma 9 to Debian 12 (v.25.10.14), it appears that the file /etc/centreon/centreon_vmware.json resets itself.

When I enter the password in the password field, communication with vCenter/vSphere works fine.

A few minutes later... the field becomes empty.

Thank you for your feedback.

Hi @RTFM, you need to use Configuration > Connectors > Additional Configurations menu to configure this file.

Thank you @lpinsivy for your reply.

When I try this method, I get the following message : [parameters.vcenters[0].password] The string is empty: a non-empty string was expected.

Yet earlier, the password had been entered and confirmed using the little tick symbol.

Should I create a new configuration by deleting the one I imported ?

By deleting the legacy configuration in Alma 9 and recreating it manually via Configuration > Connectors > Additional Configurations, the connection is stable again.

Thank you.
