Updated centreon from 19 to 24, need to migrate the old poller to it

Hello ! I migrated my centreon from a 19 version to a 24 oneFrom my 19 version, I had a poller, that I didn’t touch at all, and now, I would like to get the configuration that is on that poller and migrate it inside the new 24 one (not add a poller to it, but merge it to the new centreon)Do you know how can I do that ?

poller's JSON file doesnt get sent from centreon central to the poller

Hello, Ive set up centreon server and two pollers, for one poller everything works fine, for the other one, the poller.json file doesnt get sent at all? ive checked in centreon central and i saw it does get generated after export but its never sent to my poller because i cant find it in the poller, therefore i cant make connection between the two, and also in the centengine.cfg file i see broker module on my poller it set to ‘centrlal-module.json” when it should be set to something else etc, im confused why the .json file isnt being sent, if i add it manually will it work? ive even checjed the mysql db on centreon central and i see it has two pollers, so I have no clue whats cuasing it, the ports needed were allowed via the firewall so i doubt they’re the issue,please help i can’t figure it out

I can't change or delete/remove Centreon Monitoring Agent from poller/Agent configuration

I tried to change my certificat name because i created  a new or simply delete my agent CMA, but I can’t. when I validate the windows disappear but my agent didn’t change or disappeared centreon : 24.10.7OS : Alma Linux 9.6 changeor delete

Problème de check Client Centreon sur Windows

Bonjour,J’ai plusieurs check (celui de l’Hôte, NTP, Updates, Pending-Reboot) qui me remontent avec comme retour “(No output returned from plugin)” et (Execute command failed). “The Agent is not working properly !”If you encounter errors using Centreon Monitoring Agent, please check the following : Ensure you followed the deployment procedure, without missing any step Make sure you can reach the Poller from the Host, on the configured port (default : 4317) Check is the Poller is listening on the right portnetstat -nap | grep 4317 Check if there are incomming packets on this port. It must be tcpdump -i any port 4317Check if the hostname is strictly the same in the Centreon Host ? For Windows Host, on Host template, check the SYSTEMLANGUAGE macro, according to the Windows host language (fr or en) Check engine logs on Poller, in trace modetail -100 /var/log/centreon-engine/centengine.logReload engine Reload the agent Make sure you have the last version of dedicated connectors, which include default passive mode (needed)

[MAP] - allow copy and paste againNew

Dear CentreonBetween versions 24.10.4 and 24.10.9, you blocked the use of copy and paste.It's very hard to understand who thinks this is a good idea...This is very annoying when creating our MAPs.Please restore this basic and essential functionality.Imagine a Word or Excel file without the ability to copy and paste, that would be totaly absurd, it's the same for MAP.Thanks

centreon_fortinet_fortigate_restapi.pl special character issue

Hi, I have an issue with centreon_fortinet_fortigate_restapi.pl. If I try to get license info I get error: UNKNOWN: Cannot decode response (add --debug option to display returned content) Issue comes from the fact that there is letter Ü in output as company name. That messes the output up.I tried different options in the commandline, but at least to me only fix seems to be, is to add UTF-8 encoding to plugin. Or am I missing something or is there some magical hack I can use?NB! It not possible to change the company name not to have that letter Ü in it.

Non-Centron plugin force push from central to pollerNew

As an idea - have an option that if I use special/self-written plugins, I just upload the plugin to central and from WEB (just as agents menu) push them to any specific poller. Currently if I create a plugin I have to login to each 45 poller and copy the command there. And if there is a need to change/fix something in the command then again copy it manually to all of them.I know it is possible to use Ansible, but that is really time consuming.

[MAP] Red container and object with acknowledged alarm

Good evening,I’ve 2 questions about Centreon Map: 1) A container is red because one object inside (a switch) have an alarm, but is acknowledged.It is possible to ignore in map the acknowledged alarms? 2) I draw 2 crossed lines between 4 container, I try to move the text of these lines but when I click on save, they return to the center of the lines, overlapping.It’s a bug? At the moment to resolve this problem I modify the path of one line (I attach 2 image that explain this). Thanks, Regards,Andrea

Poller on Raspberry Pi not running — [proxy] Send message problem for '8'] error

Hi everyone,I installed a poller on a Raspberry Pi 4. The Centreon central server is hosted on a VM (so they are not on the same local network).After creating the poller, I ran the following command:bash /usr/share/centreon/bin/registerServerTopology.sh -u <API_USER> -t poller -h <CENTRAL_IP> -n <POLLER_NAME> The poller appears in the Centreon interface. I selected it, copied the configuration provided by the interface, applied it to the Raspberry Pi, then restarted Gorgone on both sides. I also exported the configuration from Centreon.But the poller still doesn't run.In the Gorgone logs, I see the following message:ERROR - [proxy] Send message problem for '8':Do you think this could be the issue?Thanks in advance for any help.

Problem with centreon gorgoned centreon 24.10.5

Hello,i’ve an issue withe connectivity between centreon central and a remote poller with the 24.10.5 version. My central can reach the remote poller with tcp port 5556 From cental, a netstat command  we can see Fin wait, it’ seems that the client initiale a connection to the remote server but don’t have received the reponse that the connection is established.  From the remote server: we can see  a lot of established connection to the central… Normally i have other remote server, and normally there is only one connection, but not a lot as the screenshot. Architecture:CI-remote <--> FW customer ==VPN== FW IT↔ CentralWe have open all rules on each FW temporary to analyse but the connection is not permanent…. Actually, when i export config throw the Web interface, the files generated are not moved on the server remote, i’have issue Handshake Timeout the remote server id =5the central id=1 Could someone explain my which commands are running when the export is done i hope i can see err

Centreon not loading at first time - debian 12 - centreon 24.10

hi community, i have install debian 12 server on hyper-v and after i have install centreon 24.10 with instruction in site https://docs.centreon.com/fr/docs/installation/installation-of-a-central-server/using-packages/ .i have choise mysql for DB .all install is ok, not error,  but when i go on web page for first install web i have logo centreon and text centreon loading with red window on page .i have look log apache or over log but i don’t look error .if possible do you have any time to help me.than’k GD.

🇬🇧Hello,I’m having an issue with the Bluemind plugin. I’ve tried different “ssh backend” options, but I keep getting errors.With sshcli:UNKNOWN: sshcli backend cannot use ssh password. please use backend plink or libsshAnyway, I mostly use service accounts, so I tried libssh :UNKNOWN: command execution error [exit code: 7]Or if the mode is set to core instead of xmpp :UNKNOWN: Cannot serialize statefile '/var/lib/centreon/centplugins/bluemind_core_***.***.***.***_xxxxxxxxxxxx....'Never mind, I tried plink:UNKNOWN: Command error: Can't exec "plink": Aucun fichier ou dossier de ce type at /usr/lib/centreon/plugins//centreon_bluemind_ssh.pl line 4059. I tested the service account on the Bluemind VM and got a proper response with the curl command specified in the documentation, but nothing works.I just upgraded Centreon to version 24.10 today after upgrading Debian from 11 to 12. With versions 25.07 Cloud/24.10.9 onPrem, which mark the end of the Beta phase for the Centreon Monitoring Agent, agent/poller communication security has been strengthened.Agent configuration via the interface or API now requires a valid authentication token.To avoid disrupting configurations already in place at the time of the update (and therefore without tokens), TLS connections without tokens are still tolerated. This will no longer be the case in 25.10Any secure connection without a valid token will be refused by the poller and agent. Therefore, before migrating to 25.10, for each existing agent configuration without a token, you will have to : Generate a TokenIn Administration > Authentication tokens, create a token with the Centreon monitoring agent type, with the expiry time of your choice (or without expiry).Copy this token to the clipboard, from the creation screen or the token list. Apply the token to the agent configuration on the central serverIn Configuration > Coll

Hello all, Using the Virt-VMWare2-ESX-Memory-Generic service, I want to be able to graph the values as a percentage.https://docs.centreon.com/pp/integrations/plugin-packs/procedures/virtualization-vmware2-esx/ By default, the plugin outputs these three performance data, but the one that interests me the most is missing.'used'=83033128960B;;;0;205563826176'overhead'=0B;;;0;'state'=0;;;0;3 To this I would add at the output of the service a performance metric which calculates and graphs the percentage. I would hope to do this with the “EXTRAOPTIONS” but I don't know how. Does anyone know if this is possible ? without having to rewrite the official script ? I need it for this case but it could be used in other contexts and plugins Thanks a lot

Request for a Macro to Retrieve BA Description in NotificationsNew

I would like to include specific BA information in notifications.There is a Description field in the BA configuration, but there is currently no MACRO available to retrieve this information.Would it be possible to create a dedicated macro to meet this requirement?I have tested the following macros: $SERVICEDISPLAYNAME$ → returns the display name $SERVICEDESC$ → returns the technical ID of the BA virtual service (e.g., ba_397) However, none of these macros return the description entered in the BA configuration.

Possibility to enable/disable notifications when host downNew

Hello, Currently we are able to enable or disable the checks for services attached to a host down. Unfortunately (for me), regarding notification, it’s disable by design and it’s not possible to enable it. In my use case it’s problematic because we use notification to perfom several actions when a service went critical. Also, we don’t realy use alerts coming from hosts. We prefer use directly a service named ping. So, currently if a host is down, it blocks all our automation because no notification will be sent. A button to enable or disbale in case of host down will be very helpful. Thank you for considering this idea
