At present, Centreon is not yet widely recognized across Canada, particularly in regions such as Western and Northern Canada, including Winnipeg, Saskatoon, Edmonton, and Vancouver. In my opinion, to increase visibility and drive adoption of this platform, it would be beneficial to consider establishing a headquarters or regional offices in these markets.Currently, Centreon appears to have a primary presence in Toronto, while many Canadian IT organizations already rely on well-established U.S.-based platforms such as Datadog, Splunk, and other similar solutions. To strengthen its position in the Canadian market, Centreon will likely need to invest further in local presence, strategic partnerships, and marketing efforts.

For technical teams, a web application can be available from an infrastructure point of view and still deliver a poor experience to end users.A login page may load slowly. A checkout step may fail intermittently. A business-critical journey may remain technically “up” while becoming frustrating in practice for users. This is exactly the kind of gap Centreon DEM is designed to address.Formerly known as Quanta, Centreon DEM extends observability to the digital experience itself. Its goal is not only to tell you whether a web application is reachable, but also to help you understand how it behaves for users, how it performs over time, and where improvements are needed.A broader view of web application performanceCentreon DEM combines several complementary approaches. The first one is Synthetic Transaction Monitoring, also called user journeys. These are automated scenarios executed in real browsers at a defined frequency. They can simulate key actions such as loading a page, logging in, na

Hello,Having migrated recently to version 24.10, I’ve noticed that it is no longer possible to set the password of a local Centreon user from an admin account logged in via SSO.On the local‑user configuration page, the password of the currently logged‑in user is now required in order to authorize changes to the user. However, when logged in with SSO, the Centreon account does not have a password. Consequently, I can’t use my own password to reset the local user’s account.Am I the only one experiencing this odd behavior? Did I miss something?Lanxor

With this move, Centreon becomes the only private and independent vendor to offer an end-to-end observability platform covering infrastructure, application, and real user experience monitoring.A Strategic Acquisition By integrating Quanta’s technologies, Centreon enhances its offerings with advanced Digital Experience Monitoring (DEM) capabilities: Synthetic Transaction Monitoring (STM), Real User Monitoring (RUM), and Digital Sobriety metrics. Hello everyone, I am using version 24.10 of Centreon. I am here to ask why I cannot use my template, which I installed using a command in CLI.(Generic SNMP | Centreon Documentation) As you can see, when I go to the host templates, I have the template I want: But when I try to add it to a host, there is nothing there, it is not there: Do you have a solution to this problem?
Hello everyone,I would like to get an official clarification from the Centreon Community about the use of the Open Tickets module in the Community Edition.Context: We are using Centreon Community Edition 24.x, with the Open Tickets module installed from the community repository (centreon-open-tickets). The module appears as installed and enabled in Administration > Extensions > Modules. However, the Monitoring Connector Manager shows “License required”. We have double-checked our ACL configuration: the user is an Admin and all permissions are granted. In Notifications > Rules, the page is empty and I cannot add any rules. My question is:Is it possible to use the Open Tickets module with the full graphical interface (especially Notifications > Rules) in the Community Edition without an IT Edition license?Or is it confirmed that in the Community Edition, only the method using a Notification Command or Event Handler is supported, without the connector management UI?Any
After a year-long beta testing phase and much feedback from the open source community, customers and partners, we are proud to announce that the new Centreon monitoring agent, called Centreon Monitoring Agent, is now available in General Availability status. Why a Centreon Monitoring Agent? While it’s true that one of the strengths of the Centreon platform is its ability to monitor all kinds of environments in active mode, without installing an agent on the equipment being monitored, there are nevertheless certain use cases that benefit from the deployment of a software agent: For example, when security policies only allow outgoing flows from a device, and it is not possible to implement active controls from a poller using protocols such as SNMP. The same applies when an entire remote site is protected in this way, and it is not possible to install a poller locally. Or when it’s necessary to run a script locally on a machine, either for security reasons (authorized rights and/or protoco
