Issue on new poller, host doesn't show up

I’ve recently installed a new poller, I can see the status and if it’s updated, if I add an host and change the poller to the new one I can see that configuration is changed, so I presume that communication between central server and poller is running fine.

 

I export configuration and reload but I can’t find that new host assigned to new poller, tried to reset filter change views and so on, what I’m missing ?

Deleting and adding remote poller again (with same configuration) worked, now I can see remote hosts.

Hi,

No. It just means the configuration has changed at the database level, on the central. That’s the “Last Update” column, if updated with current time, that would show the communication is OK.

Noted, yes so it’s updated.

 

 

I still can’t see any host registered under that new poller, If I change host configuration and revert back to central poller it shows up again.

Hi, If you move resources from a poller to another one, you need to generate configuration of both server and restart them.

Your resources will move in “pending” status waiting first check

Hi, done it several times with restart or reload method:

 

I can see that the poller is giving some warning but nothing more:

 

And I can’t find that host anywhere in my centreon.
