Hi everyone I have this problem on centreon and I can’t resolve it… I always receive an email because the status change to critical > unknow > critical

I’ve nothing to connected on my port so the status critical is normal I just don’t want to receive lot of notifications about this

Cant find interface name (switchname) 2/1/15 in cache file /var/lib/centreon/centplugins/traffic_cache_(ipcache) Maybe you need a cache rebuild
(Command with option -a 0).

and 1 min after my port is critical so everything is good but I receveid the notification and again and again the same thing

You can add an acknowledge for this service because the network interface is disabled and it is normal, this will disable notification

Or you can increase “max check attempt” option.

O_O are you still using Centreon v2.8.4?

You may have network trouble an some time the plugin doesn’t receive SNMP information, that is why the status move to UNKNOWN.

yea I did it but if the status change, I unfortunately can’t see it by mail

I tried acknowledge and sometimes my acknowledge disappears It came back to critical

which option should I use ?
Persistent or sticky ? or both ?

Of course thanks for your time and your help !

My question is why are you monitoring a down network interface? You will have always a critical service in the list of issue

You need to put both: Persistent or sticky.

Persistent : keep it when Centreon Engine restart

Sticky: keep it when status change between non-ok status (warning, unknown, critical)
