I have an LDAP Import that works nice i can detect Active Directory Group and add ACL based on this groups

But i do not find a way to give the user Administrator right is there a way to add this ?

when i look in ACL Actions group i do not find a way to do this

Hi, for me, I think that you can do it with :

  • Configuration → Utilisateurs → Contacts / Utilisateurs
  • edit one contact “test” for my example and there is a tab “Authentification Centreon”
  • You can enable Admin access (cf. sreenshot in red)

Thanks Yohann for our answer but i know how to give admin right to users that not why i ask here.

let me explain with more details  i have setup some LDAP settings to import users from active directory that works fine.

  • I can get users mapped with active directory group (that works)
  • i can setup ACL acces group mapped with the active directory (that works)
  • i can link my ACL acces group whith an acces actions and with menus and ressources (that works)
  •  but : with the acces actions even if a give all the rights i does not give the administrator right

What i try to do is : automatically when i add a user in a spécifique active directory group that it give the centreon administrator rignt

i hope what i ask is now clear ( english is not my best power 🙂 )

Hi, you can’t set “administrator” automatically but with ACL you can give all rights to access resources, menus and actions.

This is of course what I implemented, but even by selecting all the options (in an ACL actions access) it does not allow administration rights to be given automatically from membership in an active directory group.
