Hello,
As i know connectors are not required to commands work.

If You want, You can configure it manually like this:

SSH Connector
Command: centreon_connector_ssh --log-file=/var/log/centreon-engine/connector-ssh.log

Perl Connector:
Command: centreon_connector_perl --log-file=/var/log/centreon-engine/connector-perl.log

EDIT: probably i missed understand Your question, maybe u need to configure proxy or something?
