At present, Centreon is not yet widely recognized across Canada, particularly in regions such as Western and Northern Canada, including Winnipeg, Saskatoon, Edmonton, and Vancouver. In my opinion, to increase visibility and drive adoption of this platform, it would be beneficial to consider establishing a headquarters or regional offices in these markets.

Currently, Centreon appears to have a primary presence in Toronto, while many Canadian IT organizations already rely on well-established U.S.-based platforms such as Datadog, Splunk, and other similar solutions.

To strengthen its position in the Canadian market, Centreon will likely need to invest further in local presence, strategic partnerships, and marketing efforts.

Bonjour Harsh,😍😉😎🤗

Cordialement,

VERSION ANGLAISE

Dear Harsh,

Thank you for your encouraging message and for inviting me to connect. I appreciate your interest in my ideas about Centreon’s potential in Western and Northern Canada.

Before we schedule a meeting, I would like to share a little more about my background and my vision for the Canadian market.

I am a Cybersecurity Analyst graduate from Willis College in Ottawa, where I completed my diploma with honours in September 2025. I also have approximately five years of professional IT experience in network and systems administration. Through my technical experience and my home lab, I have had the opportunity to work with Centreon, and I consider it an excellent platform for infrastructure monitoring.

I am currently unemployed and looking for opportunities to apply my IT and cybersecurity experience. In the longer term, my goal is to establish my own private IT services company in Canada, potentially specializing in Centreon implementation, infrastructure monitoring and managed monitoring services.

From my perspective, there may be opportunities to increase Centreon’s visibility in Western Canada and in northern and remote Canadian communities. In my experience and observations, many organizations are already familiar with established monitoring and observability products, including solutions from major US-based vendors. However, I have not yet conducted a comprehensive market survey, so I would like to validate how widely Centreon is known and used across these regions.

Winnipeg, Manitoba, where I have connections and experience, has a challenging climate, with severe winter conditions. Across remote and northern communities, reliable IT infrastructure and network availability can be particularly important because organizations may operate across geographically dispersed locations and have limited access to on-site technical support.

I believe Centreon could explore a more strategic approach to this market, including:

  1. Local partnerships and market development: Building relationships with Canadian IT service providers, systems integrators and regional technology companies that could introduce, implement and support Centreon.

  2. Customer-controlled deployments: Exploring on-premises or appropriately secured customer-controlled monitoring architectures for organizations that have strict data residency, confidentiality or security requirements. I would not suggest centralizing sensitive government data without first understanding each organization's security and compliance obligations.

  3. A Canadian market development strategy: Researching the needs of provincial and territorial governments, municipalities, healthcare organizations, universities, telecommunications companies, mining businesses and private enterprises.

  4. Technical demonstrations and pilot projects: Demonstrating Centreon’s value in monitoring distributed infrastructure, improving visibility and detecting service availability or performance issues.

  5. A potential local business partnership: Exploring whether I could eventually contribute to Centreon’s development in Canada through market research, technical demonstrations, customer outreach or, subject to your partner requirements, an independent Centreon-focused services business.

I would be pleased to prepare a more comprehensive, evidence-based market research report, including a step-by-step analysis of procurement opportunities, existing monitoring technologies, potential customers, local partners and practical strategies for introducing Centreon to more Canadian organizations.

I would also appreciate learning more about your role at Centreon, the company's current strategy for North America, and its long-term ambitions for Western and Northern Canada. I am particularly interested in understanding which markets Centreon hopes to develop, what challenges it sees in Canada, and whether there may be opportunities for someone with my IT background to contribute.

My intention is to explore how my technical experience, knowledge of the Canadian environment and future entrepreneurial ambitions could create value for Centreon and its customers.

Thank you again for your interest. I look forward to hearing your perspective and, if convenient, arranging a conversation.

Best regards,
