hello all ,

I need to retreive the number of critical triggered on a daily basis.

Im a little lost on the solution to put in place to produce this information.

can someone guide me ?

thanks for the reply.

Hi @victor bannier what do you means by “retreive the number of critical triggered on a daily basis”?

We are opening a service center to do 24/7 supervision for our client . I was asked “ how many notification we have a day “ , the notifications are triggered on CRITICAL status only , and i dont know how to extract this information .

Hi @victor bannier So you want to know for each day the number of resources where in critical status and with a notification sent?

We don”t have this information available today. Can you create an idea?

hi @Laurent , its exactly what i want , i will create an idea .

Thanks for the reply

hello

here are manual options to get your information, it is not automatic, so yes, post an idea.

option 1 : availibility report

it may not be exactly what you need, but there is the availibilty report that does a summary with the % and count of alert on a host :

here you can see 2 count of “ping” critical for yesterday (it was an wifi AP which was rebooted twice during an operation)

the issue it is not easily queriable, and i’m not sure it is included in centreon without entreprise licence and MBI

option 2 : excel

you can also parse the “event log” with checking the “hard only” option and adjusting the filter

you have the option to export csv

again, not queriable easily

but doing that on a long period, exporting in csv and excel pivot table will get you the the data.

and again, it is not automatic, but it depends on how often you need the information, how many, and how long it takes you to get an excel that will load the csv and create your report.

but basically you want a daily report of what happened the previous day, as far as know it is the job of MBI to produce this in PDF/CSV on a schedule, but you may need a custom report to get exactly what you need.
