OW2con’25 – Open Source Driving Europe’s Digital Future

About this event

OW2con’25, the flagship European open source conference organized by OW2, will be held on June 17–18, 2025, at Orange Innovation Gardens, Paris-Châtillon. This free, international event brings together developers, IT companies, researchers, and non-profits to explore both the technical and ethical dimensions of open source.

This year’s theme focuses on open source and responsible AI, with talks covering key topics like data sovereignty, privacy, sustainability, legal frameworks, and the societal impact of AI.

Centreon will be participating, and our CTO Vincent Untz will be speaking on June 18 at 11:10 (Main Stage). His talk, “Forking a project in a friendly way,” will explore how forks—often seen as conflictual—can also emerge from consensus and shared vision within open source communities.

An unmissable event to discover what’s next in open source, and how it continues to power a more open, ethical, and collaborative digital future.
