I would like to suggest an improvement regarding graph visualization in Centreon.
Currently, it is not possible (or very limited) to customize the colors of curves displayed in performance graphs (e.g. traffic in/out, CPU usage, etc.). The colors seem to be automatically assigned, which can make graphs harder to read and interpret, especially when multiple metrics are displayed.
Use case:
When monitoring network interfaces (traffic in/out), it would be very helpful to:
- Assign consistent colors (e.g. green for inbound, blue/red for outbound)
- Keep the same color across different hosts and services
- Improve readability and standardization across dashboards
Proposed improvement:
- Allow manual color selection per metric (service level or template level)
- Provide default color profiles or themes
- Allow overriding colors in graph widgets / dashboards
Benefits:
- Better readability of graphs
- Faster troubleshooting
- Consistent visualization across environments
