Persona: This is for an IT manager

Problem to solve: no metrics for "I/O Database Read Average Latency" and "I/O Database Write Average Latency" in Microsoft Exchange Plugin Pack

Expected outcome: monitoring I/O latency in Exchange Databases

Potential solution: add I/O Databases monitoring in Microsoft Exchange Plugin Pack

Hi,

Sorry for answering months after the idea has been submitted!

As it’s a Microsoft product, chances are that there is either a MS SQL Server or a SQL Express behind this. Have you tried using the MS SQL Server Plugin Pack?

Hi,

I’m using the MS SQL Server Plugin Pack and there are no I/O Monitoring in this. This is why I’m made this topic.

Decline due to lack of traction on this idea. Workaround to consider: leverage the WSMAN connector or a Powershell script triggered by an agent to retrieve this data.
