today to discover services the only way available is using snmp request. Problem, SNMP stack is not always configured or allowed on whole infra.
Could it be possible to add a way (a script launch by check_nrpe for example) to retrieve/update services/filesystem discovery once a client is added to Centreon ?

This is not true, you can discover via agent nsclient, wmi wsman api and ssh, etc...
Problem with nrpe will be the return size limited
Output of discovery will be truncated.. (except if you use sbire)

Furthermore, I forget that nrpe limitation will truncate my results.
