Hello,

We're using Centreon 21.04 and open-tickets module. When we have to open a ticket, we have to leave resource status page, to go to a custom view with open-tickets widget and to open the ticket there.

It would be very useful for us to be able to open a ticket from the same page. I mean, I can select a service and I have a menu where I can ‘acknowledge’, ‘set a downtime’, ‘disacknowledge’, ‘add a comment’...Why can’t I open a ticket just from here? Whay can’t I have a button to open a ticket?

My users would work in just one window. Now they have to change from one to another, and when you manage more than 12.000 hosts, it is not very friendly.

  • Persona: Operators.

  • Problem to solve: it’s not exacly a problem, but it would easy operators’ work.

  • Expected outcome: confortability when working.

  • Potential solutions: it may be as completed as you want:

    • To be able to open the ticket from ‘resource status’ page (menu option/button option)

    • To be able to filter by ticket id (is there or isn’t an open ticket, if yes, can I filter by id)

Thanks,

Albert

Hi @ahurtado Your request has been taken into account, it is currently in our backlog.

Great!

Thanks!

@rchauvel do you have an ETA for this feature ?

Hello @jdidierpichat,

With the new 24.10 version, you can now directly open/close a ticket in Centreon Dashboards, using the “Resource table” widget, which is a lighter version of the Resource Status page:

We also planned to include these functionalities directly into the Resource Status page itself, that may arrive during 2025, but priority is not that high, given that the Resource Table widget already allows you to manage both ticketing feature and changing the state of a resource in one single place.

Best,

Romain
