Hello,

I’m currently testing the 22.04 and i found that the “Check” button in the Ressources view, does not really does what we can think.

When you click on it, the command sent to the engine is the following :

SCHEDULE_FORCED_SVC_CHECK

But it should be :

SCHEDULE_SVC_CHECK

And a “Forced check” ignore the “Check Period“ of the service.

Some services must not be checked outside their “Check Period“ because they can changed into a Critical state outside their “Period”.

Example : something that must be over “0” but only 3h in the morning. If you check it at 14h00, it state will be Critical, so it’s “Check Period“ is “00:00-03:00”

  • Persona : everyone

  • Problem to solve : Respect the service check period

  • Expected outcome : Service who are not supposed to be checked , cannot simply be rechecked

  • Potential solutions :

    • the «Check» button, execute a real “Check”

    • in the «...» menu, add a «Check forced»
