Currently, MIB data is not sufficient, and it would be useful to be able to monitor the appliance and the buckets.

Actuellement la MiB n'est pas suffisante et il serait intéressant de pouvoir superviser l'appliance et les buckets.

Hi @mmunck, based on our conversation, it was not possible to monitor your requirements via SNMP, and only the following options were available:

  • Email/SMTP notifications: OOTBI can send email alerts for critical states. Docs here: https://objectfirst.com/help/1.7/configuring-email-notifications/

  • Telemetry: if enabled, this sends usage/health data back to Object First, and their team will automatically open a support ticket on their end if the metrics show a critical issue.

Indeed, their documentation explains that he following metrics are not currently exposed through SNMP:

  • Storage capacity
  • Storage utilization
  • Cluster capacity
  • Bucket statistics
  • Other Ootbi-specific metrics outside the supported OID branches

So, I am not sure how we could develop a monitoring connector to meet your needs.
