Hi,

I’m trying to make graphs more stylish and better understandable.
I have different metrics in one graph, showing i.e. packet loss in % and round-trip-time in ms.
I want to scale the % packet loss fix from 0 to 100. The RTT should be scaled to max.

I can only adjust the left y-axis with the graph template. I could not manage to do settings on the right y-axis.
Why can I only do settings on the left? This should be possible on every metric independent on which axis it is shown.

BR
Horst

Hi @Horst Kitsch,

The layout of the performance graph display is as follows:

1. Monitoring  >  Performances  >  Graphs menu

  • If you graph as only 1 or 2 units, you can manage Lower/upper Limit or scale to max. Else, scale to max of the first curve definition (from API) will be used.
  • First curve (from API) will be the right Y axes and Second curve the Y Left axe.
  • Curve colors can be managed by curve definitions.
  • If you hide all curves and select 1 in legend, the Y axis is scaled automatically.

2. Dashboards & Resource Status

  • First curve (from API) will be the right Y axes and Second curve the Y Left axe.
  • Automatic scaling of the Y axes.
  • Curve colors can be managed by curve definitions.
  • If you select 1 curve in legend, the Y axis is scaled automatically and associated legend displayed.

In both cases, the system does not allow you to choose which unit to associate with the Y axes.

From what I understand, you would like to create a graph representation template where you can define the unit of the Y-axis on the right (as well as the lower/upper limit or auto scale options) and do the same for the Y-axis on the right (as well as the lower/upper limit or auto scale options)?
