I have encountered a problem while exporting new configuration to some of our pollers. The progress bar stayed blocked at 0%.There were no errors, no alerts, nothing.

The problem was a model service that was disabled (because it’s no longer used). So I had to reactivate it and disable for all the hosts configuration and it worked.

I think it would be a great to create an error log while exporting configuration. Like: Cannot export configuration because “X” reason (in my case, swap service was disabled while it is used in the current configuration)

Hi @adm-adi

I would be interested to have a talk with you about your use case. I’ll send you a PM to offer you a time slot.

Thanks for your time @adm-adi,

I’ll explain below the use case that led you to disabling service templates.

The OS-Windows-Snmp-Custom host template is linked by default to the Swap template, but your virtual machines do not have swap enabled, so you wanted to avoid monitoring it by default.

The right way for doing this is removing Swap from the service templates linked to the host template, in the Relations tab of the configuration form.

Besides, since your idea is rather a bug, we’ll decline this idea.

Regards

I will do that in the future.
Thank you for your time and your professionalism.

Best regards.
