We would check and graph the number of hosts up and down for a group of hosts and then display this graph in a dashboard and in MAP.
like the graph on poller engine do in Administration > Platform Status > Engine Statistics
(and like is done by Centreon for live value on)
This will allow MAP users and dashboard users to immediately and easily see when a significant problem has started or when it was finished.
We can also imagine taking advantage of this to facilitate alarm management, for example, to easily manage notification not for a single individual host but for a group of hosts/services. And same advantage for escalation.
