Hi,

as security is central and critical information should be secured as much as possible, it would be nice to get an anonymization option for the logs before to send them to the support.

Thank you

Do you have any experience with other solutions and log anonymization options? Is this a feature they embed or do you run a tool to transform logs?

Can you list data that should be anonymized (IP, FQDN, other?).

Yes, sos report for redhat as an anonymisation option: https://access.redhat.com/documentation/en-us/red_hat_enterprise_linux/9/html/getting_the_most_from_your_support_experience/generating-an-sos-report-for-technical-support_getting-the-most-from-your-support-experience#cleaning-an-sos-report_generating-an-sosreport-for-technical-support

same as desribed in redhat documentaiton : user names, host names, IP or MAC addresses, or other user-specified keywords.

Same thing for database dump we have to send in some cases.
A tool for anonymize it would be a good thing for security.
IP, FQDN, user names, emails, login, passwords,…. are sensible informations.
