MAP additional shapes

Hello,In order to allow more possibilities in the visuals of the maps, would it be possible to add complementary shapes in addition to squares/rectangles for the resources: circles, hexagons, triangles, etc.The possibility of allowing rotation would also be appreciated.Sincerely.
