When a poller is going to be deleted there should be a warning message displayed that there are still resources configured to be monitored from it (if this is the case) and the deletion should not be possible.
There should be also a message informing that all these resources should be moved to a different poller or to be deleted in advance to succesfully delete the selected poller.
At the moment we have a workaround proposed how to handle such situations Troubleshooting Guide : My poller was deleted and my hosts are now orphaned. – Centreon : The Guard .
But this is huge gap in the logic of Centreon.

+10What I actually had in my mind was a very simple use case: accidental deletion of a poller before it is e.g decommisioned (can be triggered because of migration to a different OS - we did many of that lately moving from CentOS 7 to Alma Linux).
We have dozens of pollers because of the size of our infrastructure. It might happen you select by mistake a poller next one to the one you actually want to delete without noticing it. And you are just 2 clicks away from accidentally deleting a wrong poller. Moreover the confirmation dialog box doesn’t display the name of a poller which is to be deleted. Mistakes happen and in this case they are very easy occur. It happened to us at least twice.
