Saas poller and on premise Centreon

With Centreon You can have a poller in SaaS with a Centreon on premise.

You can manage network flow (Gorgone/ZMQ and Broker/TCP flows) from poller to central or from central to poller.

To invert (from central to poller) Centreon Broker flow use this documentation.

To invert (from poller to central) Centreon Gorgone flow use this documentation.

Laurent, I suppose you mean “You can have a poller in IaaS with a Centreon on premise”. @FredericGerard did you think of Centreon offering a “poller as a service” from the cloud?

That’s it : “Centreon offering a “poller as a service” from the cloud”. It would be the easiest way to provision one of this kind :

• technically, but indeed we could still provision a vm by a cloud provider and install a poller (thanks @Laurent for the docs)
• administratively : one provider, one set of licence

The problem with a poller on SaaS and an on-premises exchange is the connection between them.
A dedicated network such as a VPN must be set up or all connection must be started by the central to the poller.

In the end, the poller would just be a server hosted by Centreon in the cloud. But how to manage version upgrades at the same time as the rest of the Centreon platform on premise? How to manage the flows between the poller in the Centreon SaaS network and your infrastructure hosted in the cloud?

Apart from not having to install a poller, I think the rest of the administration will be more complicated.

Maybe an AMI can be a good option to configure the installation, right?
