It should be nice to have a plugin which allows to monitor traceroute hops:
- number of hops
- time

Are there any news about them?
+7A interesting usecase of a traceroute monitoring could be also to monitor a certain route and raise a alarm, if the route will change maybe when a backup line is used. For them it could be a good idea to define also a IP adress for a certain hop and if this will change a alarm will be raised (similar like here: https://exchange.nagios.org/directory/Plugins/Network-Protocols/%2A-Routing/check_traceroute/details)
