I ll try to explain myself :- ) when you pass over the menu with mouse , it open and stay for few second .
When you work so fast as me ;-D , it s awfull when (by mystake ) you had to wait that this menu closed to acces the field below …
Ca we have the choice with mouse gesture, maybe the possibility to open menu with a click ?
I also noticed this. Personally I prefer a menu working with mouse-over and mouse-out rather than mouse-click, but the folding/closing of the menu clearly is too slow. I would have no problem with a menu which requires clicking though.
I guess the best thing which can be done (from a user point of view) would be to have those both options in the user profile:
- chose between a click based menu or a mouse-over/out based menu
- setting of the delay for menu closing (in case of a mouse-over/out menu)
+18We have planned a fix on the “mouse over” experience so the menu does not stick as it does currently. We will not implement an option in the user profile which would just add complexity for little gain.
Tip: if you stop moving the mouse once out of the menu, the menu disappears
