A SNMP version for the Veeam plugin instead of the NRPE or the NSClient++ actual version ?  ;)

Hi, the link you are sending is about configuring the Veeam server to send SNMP traps to a monitoring server, not about monitoring it actively with plugins.

If what you want is monitoring it actively with plugins, then you’ll have to provide MIBs and snmp walks.

If you want to handle SNMP traps, then you’ll find what you need here.

Hi, thx’s but the link was just eventually for helping : The request is really about developing a SNMP version of the Veaam plugin.

Sorry but we cannot accept this idea if you do not show it is feasible.

A quick search made me find how to configure SNMP traps but I doubt there is a way to query Veeam via SNMP. I count on you to prove me wrong ;-)

@montijanojea not sure what you want to monitor here, is it the Veeam client or the server?

For client we do have the NRPE connector and for server we do have the Veeam Backup Enterprise Manager (via REST API) connector.

As far as we can tell there is no Veeam client SNMP agent/MIB?
