Especially for me, regarding the Veeam 13 Linux plugin.

Hi

March 26 update provide veeam v13 compatibility with current centreon plugins

• Veeam Backup Enterprise Manager Rest API -> works only if you have enterprise manager installed
• Veeam WSMAN -> it's remote powershell (WinRM ) on veeam windows server
• Veeam NRPE  -> need to install NRPE agent on windows server and it's using powershell veeam cmdlets behind the scene
• Veeam NSClient API -> need to install NRPE agent and it's using powershell veeam cmdlets behind the scene
• Veeam CMA -> need to install Centreon monitoring agent and it's using powershell veeam cmdlets behind the scene

There's an API available to directly get information from veeam 13 linux appliance and avoid using agent/powershell cmdlets

You could replace most of above methods with a simplier one

Feature request : Could you add a new “Veeam REST API” plugin pack with same features as others : 

• Job-Status
• Licenses
• Repositories

As I understand it, given that there is an alternative for monitoring Veeam 13 Backup locally, this is no longer a blocking issue. However, this request remains relevant in the short term but will have to be delayed for the moment.

Which one? Could you provide more information about the solution you have in mind?

As far as I know, there is no alternative solution for the Veeam 13 linux appliance; the API is the only option.
The other methods only work for Veeam 13 installed on a Windows server.

Ah, I see where I went wrong (I was focused on Windows my bad). Whatever happens, as announced, it’s still only a short-term plan. We’ll keep you informed.

After switching to version 13 on Linux, I find myself without business-level monitoring. The only thing available to me is the `/metrics` endpoint (system-level data) from linux node-exporter.

RPM packages are available in centreon connectors repositories :
centreon-plugin-Applications-Veeam-Vbr-Restapi-20261000-1.el8.noarch
centreon-pack-applications-veeam-vbr-restapi-26.10.0-1.el8.noarch

But looks like it’s not compatible with 24.10 :(
Is there a technical reason for that, or it’s juste to force users to upgrade to 26.10 ?
