Our Centreon has been installed on AlmaLinux 9.8.
Every control is working but the ones directed to the IBM i.
We are using an external plug-in (M81’s Control4i).
The control is working just fine and giving feedback when executed from the Linux VM.
But when the controls are set up on the Centreon GUI, the commands do not give any output “(Execute command fail)”.
Also, in the /var/log/centreon-engine/centengine.log file, there are messages that indicate that the connection between Centreon and the target IBM i is not done, while it works perfectly when launched from the VM.
Here are the messages :
- In the beginning (occurring 17 times on a row) :

- and then (occurring n times) :

Why is it working on the VM but not on the GUI ?
Could you please help me understand what is not working ?
