SNMP & upgrade monitoring

Hello there,

is there a way to monitor if a server needs an upgrade (MS Windows, Debian, CentOS, ...) with SNMP?

Or the only solution is to install NRPE and check_update on each server?

No, this information isn’t available in SNMP mibs files.
