Hi guys ive been using Host-keep-alive check for keeping my host status up as we do not have ping enabled, is there any alternative to check if the host is up and send notifications to users if the host goes DOWN.

How to check status of a host without using ping or host keep-alive check ?

As explained, you can choose to use a dummy command or a custom one (e.g a TCP check).
