Add service to several servers

Hello,

I need monitor a new service in several servers, if i create a new service and add all this servers to “Linked with Hosts”, i get one service linked to all this servers.

How can i create an individual service for each every server?

It’s a good question because it’s a bad practice to link one service to many hosts.

The best way is to link a service template to a host template and deploy the services using this option:

So the correct way its add the service template to the host template, mark “create services linked to this...” and reboot centreon?

You don’t have to reboot centreon, only export the configuration with this options :

To be more specific, you will have to mark “create services linked to this...” on the related hosts, not on the host template.

By the way, it’s not possible to do it on a template.

You can use massive change on the page Configuration > Hosts
