Hello,

When we search for supported OS for the 22.10 release, AlmaLinux 8 is listed, but there is a remark about the next release (23.04):

We do not recommend installing Centreon on CentOS 7 or RHEL/Oracle Linux 7. Indeed, as of Centreon 23.04, only EL 8/9 and Debian 11 will be supported.

What about AlmaLinux 8? Will it be supported? We are planning to migrate all of our customers' Pollers to this OS so we wanted to make sure it is a good OS to migrate to :-)

https://docs.centreon.com/docs/installation/compatibility/

Thank you!

Hi,

EL8/9 or AlmaLinux, it’s the same, Oracle Linux 8/9 too. The packages are the same as Redhat.

Half of my pollers are migrated from centos to alma 8.7, it’s OK.

In the centreon documentation, you will find the same commands for Alma/RHEL/OracleLinux 8, the only difference will be the repo url
