CIM 24.10 LTS and 25.10 STS entering Phase 3 with the upcoming release of CIM 26.10.0 LTS
With the release of Centreon Infra Monitoring 26.10.0 LTS, planned for October 2026, both CIM 24.10 LTS and CIM 25.10 STS will move into Phase 3 of their maintenance lifecycle.
As defined in our product lifecycle policy, the release of a major version triggers Phase 3 for the two previous major versions — in this case, 26.10 triggers Phase 3 for both 24.10 and 25.10.
What this means in practice:
- Phase 3 is the final maintenance phase. From this point on, only blocker issues and security vulnerabilities will be fixed for 24.10 and 25.10, according to their priority.
- Bug fixes of any other severity and functional enhancements will no longer be delivered on these versions.
- Prioritization of fixes remains at the discretion of the Centreon Product team.
Recap of the three lifecycle phases:
- Phase 1 — All bugs (minor to blocker) and security issues are fixed based on priority; functional enhancements are added.
- Phase 2 — Only major/critical bugs, blockers, and security issues are fixed.
- Phase 3 — Only blockers and security issues are fixed.
What you should do:
If you're still running 24.10 or 25.10, now is a good time to start planning your upgrade path to CIM 26.10.0 LTS to keep benefiting from full support and the latest functional improvements.
