Hello Centreon Community,

We’re running some tests on Gitlab, and we want to trigger alarms on Centreon once the tests fails. We didn’t find a plugin that can connect Centreon with Gitlab.

Is it possible to create alarms in Centreon through API calls ? Is there another alternative to do so without API calls ?

We’re using Centreon 2.8.23

Hi @Tourniquet94,

Thanks for your question, and sorry for the very late answer.

You’re right: there is currently no native Centreon connector for GitLab. To help us prioritize it, could you post this need as an idea in the Ideas section of The Watch? Other community members will then be able to vote for it, and the number of votes is one of the inputs we use to build the connectors roadmap.

To make the idea as useful as possible, it would help if you could describe:

  • whether you use GitLab.com or a self-managed GitLab instance (and which version),
  • what you want to monitor: the status of the latest pipeline on a given branch, any failed pipeline over a period, specific jobs, etc.,
  • roughly how many projects you’d like to monitor.

Also note that Centreon 2.8 is no longer supported; any new connector would target current Centreon versions.

Thanks!

Best regards.
