I am on version 24.10.13 and I observed the same. Centreon Support informed me via ticket that this is a newly added feature for which the purpose is to avoid security issues for password updates.
It's not possible to disable this feature, because it's linked to a security issue.

In addition, an admin user logged to the platform through a LDAP provider cannot change a local user password anymore.
