This article describes three use cases explaining why you can be disconnected from Centreon Web.
Symptom
You are disconnected from Centreon Web even shortly after logging in.
Problem #1
Sessions Expiration Time variable causes the disconnection.
When using Centreon Web 21.10.0, 21.10.1 or 21.10.2, a variable time defined in Administration > Parameters > Centreon UI > Sessions Expiration Time may cause a disconnection from Centreon. Even if there is activity on the interface, sessions are not updated after the Sessions Expiration Time occurs.
Solution #1
You need to update Centreon to version 21.10.3 or apply this patch.
Problem #2
Disconnection is due to a disconnection argument located in the Centreon disconnect url.
On most browsers, there is a behavior that refreshes the tabs after a while, even if they are not active. If a tab is located in the Centreon disconnect url (/centreon/index.php?disconnect=1), you will be disconnected each time the browser refreshes this tab.
Solution #2
This issue is fixed in the version planned in Q2-2022. Disconnection will be done by an asynchronous call that will be transparent for the user (no disconnection argument in the url).
Problem #3
An administrator can abort your session from the Administration > Sessions page.
Solution #3
Contact the administrator to restore your session.
