Centreon Knowledge Base not working

Hello,

I’m running Centreon 23.04.6 on Almalinux 9 with a remote database. Everything is working as expected.

I’ve installed MediaWiki locally and configured it. It’s working as expected. It’s fresh and empty.

I configured the parameters to access mediawiki in Centreon web UI (url, login, password) and get the error :

 

I’ve found the errors in the log file : /var/log/php-fpm/centreon-error.log

Did you configure correctly the url?

Can you check in DB your configuration using following SQL request:

SELECT * FROM options WHERE options.key LIKE 'kb_wiki%';

Parameters seem well set.

kb_wiki_url : http://IP_of_central/wiki

kb_wiki_account : Admin

kb_wiki_password : password of Admin

kb_wiki_certificate : 1 (I don’t know if it must be set to 0 or 1, I have disable certificate check in the Web UI)

Also now the wiki is working from Centreon Web UI. but now the wiki is “public” for read. When I want to create a wiki page for a template, I’m not logged in mediawiki so the authentication is not passed on.

That could be the issue.

I don’t know if this is the normal behavior but every time I go back to the configuration of the knowledge base, the password is not “set”:

However the password is set in the database.

Also, after creating a wiki page for a template, it is accessible from the knowledge base page:

But there is no icon or description on the template itself:

Index of /mediawiki/1.31 (wikimedia.org) <== a link to the releases as it pretty impossible to google that (and it’s a deprecated version)

do not get the version from mediawiki git (gerrit something), the REL_131 is missing some contents (skins and basic extensions, no idea is they are needed, but they are included in the tgz in the first link)

I have reinstalled to version 1.31.16 (new web folder, new db), same problem. the wiki must be public for read by modifying the following variable in LocalSettings.php file:

$wgGroupPermissions['*']['read'] = true;

Else it doesn’t work at all:

 

The authentication is not passed on. I must manually log in.

After logging in, I can create the wiki page.
