According to https://docs.centreon.com/fr/pp/integrations/plugin-packs/procedures/operatingsystems-linux-nrpe3/
I add
the two suggested repos
https://packages.centreon.com/ui/native/rpm-standard/21.10/el8/stable/x86_64
https://packages.centreon.com/ui/native/rpm-standard/21.10/el8/stable/noarch/
they
still include several packages but not the ones which I should install

dnf install -y https://yum.centreon.com/standard/22.10/el8/stable/noarch/RPMS/centreon-release-22.10-1.el8.noarch.rpm
dnf install centreon-nrpe3-daemon.x86_64 centreon-plugin-Operatingsystems-Linux-Local.noarch

or

https://yum.centreon.com/standard/22.10/el8/stable/noarch/RPMS/centreon-plugin-Operatingsystems-Linux-Local-20230117-074217.el8.noarch.rpm
https://yum.centreon.com/standard/22.10/el8/stable/x86_64/RPMS/centreon-nrpe3-plugin-4.0.3-0.el8.x86_64.rpm

Any idea where to find the correct information for our version 21.10 ?

I detected a first problem in my configuration:
our Centreon servers has been updated from 21.10 to 22.04 between the initial playbook and now.
it solved partially my question, but after modifications,
I need to update on the clients a nrpe configuration which I don’t find,
do I need complementary packages ?

👋 @Sully

We have these docs on nrpe

https://docs.centreon.com/pp/integrations/plugin-packs/procedures/operatingsystems-windows-nsclient-05-nrpe/

https://docs.centreon.com/pp/integrations/plugin-packs/procedures/operatingsystems-linux-nrpe3/

can you expand on your point of “on the clients a nrpe configuration”

Thank you for the links,
I already read the second one concerning my linux case,
and I suspect that what is missing is that  another unlisted package was to install on the linux RH
for client servers:
centreon-nrpe3-daemon.x86_64

When this package was not installed, I was missing the following configuration file:
/etc/nrpe/centreon-nrpe3.cfg

Apparently when I added it, I was able to correctly finish the installation.

Just in case it can help another user ...
