How do I add custom icons in Centreon? I’ve placed a PNG file in the /usr/share/centreon/www/img/media/ppm/ folder, but it’s not showing in the drop down menu in the “Host extended infos” page.
Hello,
I've you just tried follow the documentation ?
https://docs.centreon.com/docs/administration/parameters/medias/#image-management
What's your error message ?
Thanks, couldn’t find the menu, but found it now. I’ve added the media, assigned it to a template, and a device (directly), however I’m still not seeing an icon showing up:
Hi,
You reload your configuration ?
Regards,
Greg
Yes, multiple time, refreshed etc. I’ve added other hosts and services as well, and they do show up.
Hello,
You don't overload your host definition with an another template ?
Could you share your host definition ?
See below the host config.
The OS-Mikrotik-SNMP-CCR2004 template has OS-Mikrotik-SNMP-generic as a parent template, in this template the Icon is also configured.
Hi,
If you apply only the template https://docs.centreon.com/pp/integrations/plugin-packs/procedures/network-mikrotik-snmp/#create-a-host-using-the-appropriate-template
Net-Mikrotik-SNMP-custom
Your host is visible with the icon Mikrotik ?
If you select the icon with your template OS-Mikrotik-SNMP-CCR2004 you could see it, OS-Mikrotik-SNMP-generic are not visibly the official Mikrotik SNMP.
Maybe you could reinstall the Plugin Packs ?
Regards,
I’ve created both the OS-Mikrotik-SNMP-generic and CCR2004 templates myself, I didn’t see any templates built in, or show up after installing the centreon-plugin-Network-Mikrotik-Snmp package.
Anyhow, I just noticed that the icon is now magically showing up. No clue as to why it’s working now and why it didn’t show earlier.
If you have any spare time left, kindly please assist with this other issue.
Hi,
You use en IT-xxx Edition, or an OSS Edition of Centreon ? https://www.centreon.com/centreon-editions/
I thinking you use the Plugin Packs Microtik https://docs.centreon.com/docs/administration/licenses
We’re using the OSS version, we saw the official Mikrotik plugin, and ware interested in buying, but store.centreon.com appears to be down.
You can't buy simply the plugin.
centreon-plugins are open source, the preconfigured templates are under license.
You could see the difference here
You could ask a free license limited to 100 hosts, for more hosts to monitor you need to purchase a license, 250 hosts, 500 hosts, 1000 hosts, 5000 hosts, 10000 hosts.. https://www.centreon.com/centreon-editions/ you need to ask a quotation for that.
Maybe you could ask a commercial contact on the forum
