Host machines must meet our prerequisites:

 

To install your OS on a VM or on a physical machine

  1. Get the ISO of the distribution you want on the publisher’s website:

           Alternatively, you can download a pre-built VM image from sites such as VMWare Marketplace, OSBoxes or Vagrant.

  1. Open your VM management software or power on your physical machine.
  2. Do one of the following:
    • If you are using a VM, import the ISO or image into your VM management software.
    • If you are using a physical machine, you can put the ISO on a bootable USB drive.
  3. Install the OS on the machine. Follow the official procedure:
  1. Once you have installed your OS, connect to the machine using a terminal.

    ou can now install the Centreon server you want.

 

To install your OS on a cloud-based service (AWS or Azure)

  1. Select the type of instance you want.
  2. Select the pre-configured VM for the distribution you want.
  3. Once you have started your VM, connect to the machine using a terminal.
    You can now install the Centreon server you want.
