Host machines must meet our prerequisites:
- For any type of server for Centreon OnPrem: see compatibility and prerequisites
- For Centreon Cloud pollers.
To install your OS on a VM or on a physical machine
- Get the ISO of the distribution you want on the publisher’s website:
- Alma Linux 8 and 9
- Oracle Linux 8 or 9
- RHEL 8 or 9
- Debian 11 or 12
Alternatively, you can download a pre-built VM image from sites such as VMWare Marketplace, OSBoxes or Vagrant.
- Open your VM management software or power on your physical machine.
- Do one of the following:
- If you are using a VM, import the ISO or image into your VM management software.
- If you are using a physical machine, you can put the ISO on a bootable USB drive.
- Install the OS on the machine. Follow the official procedure:
- Alma Linux 8 and 9
- Oracle Linux 8 or 9
- RHEL 8 or 9
- Debian 11 or 12
- Once you have installed your OS, connect to the machine using a terminal.
You can now install the Centreon server you want.
To install your OS on a cloud-based service (AWS or Azure)
- Select the type of instance you want.
- Select the pre-configured VM for the distribution you want.
- Once you have started your VM, connect to the machine using a terminal.
You can now install the Centreon server you want.
