Centreon Infra Monitoring

I’ve got a Centreon 19.10 that has crashed horribly, I’ve got the DB intact along with the /etc/centreon* files.  the binary’s i do not have.. but i would like to update the OS to alma 9.x  along with centreon 22.x is there an easy way to do this?  recover on a different platform that what you started ?

Bonjour, Je cherche à mettre en place du SNMP trap sur un Remote Server en suivant cette procédure : https://docs.centreon.com/fr/docs/22.04/monitoring/passive-monitoring/enable-snmp-traps/ (je suis bien en version 22.04). Dans le dernier chapitre (“Configuration de la connexion à la base de données”), je ne trouve pas ce qui est montré dans le fichier /etc/centreon/centreontrapd.pm. Quelqu’un a déjà configuré le SNMP trap sur un Remote Server / Poller et saurait me dire dans quel fichier de doit faire les modifications indiquées ? Merci d’avance.

Bonjour,Sur une VM (version VMWare) j’ai fait une installation toute neuve de Centreon, pour pouvoir tester.La partie installation, licence, pas trop de souci.Ensuite, bête et discipliné j’ai suivi la partie de la doc qui dit de sécuriser son installation (déformation professionnelle, même sur une plateforme de test) - doc ici : https://docs.centreon.com/docs/administration/secure-platform/Sauf que quand je vais dans ‘resource status” j’ai le message suivant sur certains connecteurs : CRITICAL: Cannot connect: Access denied for user 'centreon-engine'@'localhost'Et je ne trouve pas où donner à manger à l’interface Web de Centreon les nouveaux mots de passe des comptes (un peu trop) sécurisés, centreon, centreon-engine, centreon-broker et centreon-gorgone.Je suppose que d’autres ont dû avoir le tour avant moi, mais pas encore trouvé ce qui marche (les utilisateurs en question ne sont pas dans la base MariaDB si ça permet d’écarter une hypothèse).ça donne également une piste pour améliore

Bonjour, le service gorgoned est failed sur mon serveurLe fichier log dans /var/log/centreon-gorgone/ est vide.Je n’arrive pas à la relancer.Dans mon centreon lorsque je fais une modification, par exemple l’ajout d’un host et que je relance le collecteur, ce nouvel host n’apparait pas. Il finit pas apparaitre seulement le lendemain.Je pense que ce problème est lié à mon service gorgoned qui ne se lance pas.Avez vous une idée pour réparer ce service ? J’ai vérifié SELINUX, les droits mais cela ne fonctionne toujours pas.

HI Team,I have successfully implemented a PowerShell script to check error logs, which is executed by the NSClient++ agent, and everything is functioning correctly. However, regarding the display view, could you advise on how to eliminate the values with a length of zero in the status information and performance data bar? Is there a setting within Centreon where I can configure this? Thank you. 

Hi,Currently running Centreon 23.10.0My question may sound stupid but i can’t rebuild 6 months graphs from MySQL centreon_storage database with data_bin still containing all datas.Graphs are gone because i had to rebuild server with configuration file restore. Graphs are currently building fine and display fine too but only since reinstall, not data from before reinstall.I tried to rebuild following official documentation with no success. It seems Centreon completly ignore MySQL data.i can provide whatever you need as information.Thanks a lot in advance for any help regarding my issue.

Hello i have a problem with my service "Job-Status". I'm a beginner so if i do something wrong don't hesitate to tell it to me I have a poller on CentOS7 and the target is a Windows Server with Veeam running on it. Check the remote server logs for error messages.The snmpwalk work from my poller to the vm. I can telnet the VM from the poller on the 5666 port.I tried looking on the web but i don't find any solution directly related to centreon so i don't find any good solution. Thanks you all.

Hi,  I explain my problem, i need to oversee my windows computer with centreon.I install centreon_nrpe3_plugin on windows and linux, i edit my file .ini with correct informations. But when i try from linux this command : ./check_centreon_nrpe3 -H x.x.x.x -p 5666 -u -2 -P 8192The result is : CHECK_NRPE STATE UNKNOWN : Socket timeout after 10 seconds. Do you know why i have this error ?  I stay available if you need more info.Thanks,

I wanted to install a new central server V23.04 based on an ALMALinux 9 installation.I used the command found on the download page for centreon:curl -L -s https://raw.githubusercontent.com/centreon/centreon/23.04.x/centreon/unattended.sh | sh After that i migrated my existing database (ALMALinux 8 + Centreon 23.04) to my new Central Server (ALMALinux 9 + Centreon 23.04)For a brief moment everything was working but I havent updated the centreon plugins which I use.After installing nearly 700 packages including the plugins and dependencies all monitored hosts and services stopped working and giving me the error code “Cannot execute command”Are there any known problems ? I also noticed that when using:dnf install centreon-plugins*that these errors appear:Error: Problem 1: cannot install the best candidate for the job  - nothing provides perl(JSON::Path) needed by centreon-plugin-Applications-Protocol-Jmx-20230706-100638.el9.noarch Problem 2: package centreon-plugin-Operatingsystems-Window

To check “Traffic-Generic-Name” I need to exclude interface "lo" from checking. This can be done using regex '^(?!lo$)':The problem occurs when entering via GUI. It will autocomplete the expression and the command is not executable.I haven't found anywhere a description of how to write the expression to be interpreted correctly.Thank you for your advice.

Bonjoursur ma nouvelle plateforme en 23.04.6 je perds des caractères spéciaux lors de la génération des commande (notamment le $) . Je n’avais pas ça sur les version 22 et antérieurs.C’est très problématique pour contrôler des table Oracle ou des services SQL-server qui contiennent ces caractères dans leur noms. Quelqu’un a t i une solution pour protéger ces caractères ? Cordialement
