Centreon Infra Monitoring

Hi,Currently running Centreon 23.10.0My question may sound stupid but i can’t rebuild 6 months graphs from MySQL centreon_storage database with data_bin still containing all datas.Graphs are gone because i had to rebuild server with configuration file restore. Graphs are currently building fine and display fine too but only since reinstall, not data from before reinstall.I tried to rebuild following official documentation with no success. It seems Centreon completly ignore MySQL data.i can provide whatever you need as information.Thanks a lot in advance for any help regarding my issue.

Hello i have a problem with my service "Job-Status". I'm a beginner so if i do something wrong don't hesitate to tell it to me I have a poller on CentOS7 and the target is a Windows Server with Veeam running on it. Here's my command :/usr/lib64/nagios/plugins/check_centreon_nrpe -H X.X.X.X -p 5666 -t 120 -u -m 8192 -c check_centreon_plugins -a 'apps::backup::veeam::local::plugin' 'job-status' ' --filter-name="" --filter-start-time="" --filter-end-time="" --filter-counters="" --ok-status="" --warning-status="" --critical-status="" --warning-long="" --critical-long="" 'The result :Status information CHECK_NRPE: Received 0 bytes from daemon. Check the remote server logs for error messages.The snmpwalk work from my poller to the vm. I can telnet the VM from the poller on the 5666 port.I tried looking on the web but i don't find any solution directly related to centreon so i don't find any good solution. Thanks you all.

hello, thank you for your support please my poller works without problem I receive the information in real time but I have a message "some poolers are not up to date in the database, check your configuration". I installed centreon with Centos 7 

Hi,  I explain my problem, i need to oversee my windows computer with centreon.I install centreon_nrpe3_plugin on windows and linux, i edit my file .ini with correct informations. But when i try from linux this command : ./check_centreon_nrpe3 -H x.x.x.x -p 5666 -u -2 -P 8192The result is : CHECK_NRPE STATE UNKNOWN : Socket timeout after 10 seconds. Do you know why i have this error ?  I stay available if you need more info.Thanks,

I wanted to install a new central server V23.04 based on an ALMALinux 9 installation.I used the command found on the download page for centreon:curl -L -s https://raw.githubusercontent.com/centreon/centreon/23.04.x/centreon/unattended.sh | sh After that i migrated my existing database (ALMALinux 8 + Centreon 23.04) to my new Central Server (ALMALinux 9 + Centreon 23.04)For a brief moment everything was working but I havent updated the centreon plugins which I use.After installing nearly 700 packages including the plugins and dependencies all monitored hosts and services stopped working and giving me the error code “Cannot execute command”Are there any known problems ? I also noticed that when using:dnf install centreon-plugins*that these errors appear:Error: Problem 1: cannot install the best candidate for the job  - nothing provides perl(JSON::Path) needed by centreon-plugin-Applications-Protocol-Jmx-20230706-100638.el9.noarch Problem 2: package centreon-plugin-Operatingsystems-Window

How to get the value of a macro ? For example: $CENTREONPLUGINS$  ? 

To check “Traffic-Generic-Name” I need to exclude interface "lo" from checking. This can be done using regex '^(?!lo$)':The problem occurs when entering via GUI. It will autocomplete the expression and the command is not executable.I haven't found anywhere a description of how to write the expression to be interpreted correctly.Thank you for your advice.

Bonjoursur ma nouvelle plateforme en 23.04.6 je perds des caractères spéciaux lors de la génération des commande (notamment le $) . Je n’avais pas ça sur les version 22 et antérieurs.C’est très problématique pour contrôler des table Oracle ou des services SQL-server qui contiennent ces caractères dans leur noms. Quelqu’un a t i une solution pour protéger ces caractères ? Cordialement

Hello, I want to monitor the power usage of an Idrac.I’m able to do it with snmpwalk but I want to have a graph like on my other services. What can I do ? Currently, the plugin doesn’t exist for my Idrac model. I tried to do it with SNMP Traps but it looks like it needs a licence and I don’t have it. Anyone has an idea ? Thanks and have a nice day !

Hi all !Centreon 23.04.2 / On premise / Debian 11.I’ve added a script to get notifications in Google Chat but i can’t configure it correctly.The script : /usr/lib/centreon/plugins/gchat_notify.shIf i run the script drom command line (root user or standard user) it work perfectly.I’ve added a new notification command :If i click here i receive a empty notification : Next, i’ve created a new contact user :And i’ve added this user to the notification host template (and to the host notificatio to test) :When the host is down, i don’nt receive any notification but a can see in the logs that the command is executed : Can you explain me where my configuration is wrong ?Thank’s a lot, JC

Hi,I installed Centreon 23.04 from the Vmware image. No problem. Then I started the migration from my EL7 centreon 22.10. After migrating the folders (step 4 of the migration) I can no longer connect to the web page. Hello there, i want to update our old Centreon 2.6.1 monitoring platform to a newer version. Seeing that Centreon is currently on 23.10, i think it would be better to create a separate VM and migrate all the data from the old one to the new one.Checking documentation i see that only goes back to Centreon 3.4, would that method work for an older 2.6.1 version?Also in the current VM we have a disk space problem, where the files “data_bin.MYD” and “data_bin.MYI” take about 250GB of space. It would be possible to migrate to a newer version without this data? (Not copying them or delete them and let Centreon rebuild them, don’t know if it’s possible). Thanks.
