Hello We are deploying a centreon community edition. However in our environment ping is disabled as a security guidelines. We have added few hosts for the monitoring and as ping is disabled the host status is showing down. Please let me know is there any other way out to address this issue.

No it’s not mandatory at all!
You can define a dummy command-line on your generic-host-custom template like this:
Then, all Hosts will be always-up with ‘No Ping’ message.
