Graphs not working in 22.10.7

Hi!

First time posting here, It’s been some time since we had working graphs on Centreon and I’m trying to see if I can make them work again.

 

Here is a summary of the situation : It’s been like this for 6 months. This morning I updated from 22.04 to 22.10 but it’s the exact same thing: I either have “ No data available for this period ” or graphs but without any data on them.

 

I saw other posts from other users and tried the solutions (like adding an IPv4 output named centreon-broker-rrd, see

), but nothing seems to work.

 

I appreciate any help :) Thanks!

Can you execute following command:

centreon -u admin -p '<your_password>' -a POLLERGENERATE -v 1
Configuration files generated for poller 1

and check if you have files into /var/cache/centreon/config/broker/1

HI @tch,

 

Can you confirm that you have a dedicated Centreon Broker output on “central-broker-master” to forward data to “central-rrd-master” :

 

And you have a “central-rrd-master” definition?

Then can you check that both Centeron Broker are working on your server using:

systemctl status cbd

You should have something like:

● cbd.service - Centreon Broker watchdog
   Loaded: loaded (/usr/lib/systemd/system/cbd.service; enabled; vendor preset: disabled)
   Active: active (running) since Mon 2023-03-13 06:01:26 UTC; 9h ago

Ok, can you check if you have errors in /var/log/centreon-broker/central-rrd-master.log?

Can you check also if you have enough space on /var/lib/centreon?

df -h /var/lib/centreon/metrics/

The central-broker.json file doesn’t content output to central-rrd.

Can you please try to generate and export configuration, and also check that “gorgoned” process is alive:

Can you check if in /var/log/centreon-gorgone/gorgoned.log you don’t have errors when you “move” configuration?

The only error is for a licencing problem on a module, but nothing about this...

Can you move broker files and restart process:

rm -f /etc/centreon-broker/*
mv /var/cache/centreon/config/broker/1/* /etc/centreon-broker/
chown centreon-broker:centreon-broker /etc/centreon-broker/*
systemctl restart cbd

You don’t have a “1” subfolder in /var/cache/centreon/config/broker/:

Can you execute following command:

centreon -u admin -p '<your_password>' -a POLLERGENERATE -v 1
Configuration files generated for poller 1

and check if you have files into /var/cache/centreon/config/broker/1

Well I just took a look at my Centreon and the graphs are back… Right after the “poolergenerate” command they started to work again, the question now is “why were they missing in the first place?”

 

Anyway, big thanks for the help, I hope this topic will help some people in the future.
