2024 in Numbers
- Nearly 146,000 unique visitors: That’s a 38% increase compared to last year.
- 511,000 page views: Up by 16% from 2023.
These figures reflect the combined activity of registered users and those who browse the platform without signing up, proving The Watch’s role as a key resource for all things Centreon.
The busiest day of the year? January 4th, with 1,044 unique visitors. Seems like everyone kicked off the year with a resolution to master Centreon, talk about starting the year on the right foot : )
The quietest day? April 1st, with 256 unique visitors. No, this isn’t an April Fools' joke!
Mondays might have a quirky relationship with The Watch, our highest and lowest traffic days both fell on a Monday. Will the first Monday of 2025 follow suit? Let’s keep an eye on the stats and find out : )

These watchers excelled through their participation, including the number of answers provided, likes received and given, and especially their "Best Answers" (resolved questions). To recognize their contributions, they’ll each receive a special gift from Centreon.
What’s new in 2025: We’re introducing a monthly challenge to highlight and reward the most active contributors throughout the year.
Your Ideas Are Driving Change
The Watch also thrives because of your ideas. This year, you submitted 150 suggestions to improve Centreon, marking a 35% increase compared to last year.
Your input is invaluable. Every idea is reviewed by our product team as part of our commitment to co-creation. Together, we’re shaping Centreon to better serve your needs. Let’s keep that momentum going in 2025!
The Centreon Lord Commander Program
The Centreon Lord Commander Program expanded this year with the addition of
New Opportunities for Collaboration
In 2024, we launched two key groups:
- Centreon Labs: A collaborative space to explore, develop, and test innovative projects.
- OpenTelemetry & Agent Beta Program: A group dedicated to early adopters testing the beta version of OpenTelemetry. Members share feedback, resolve issues, and contribute to shaping this pivotal aspect of Centreon’s strategy.
If you haven’t joined these groups yet, now is the perfect time. Your voice matters in these initiatives.
Major Releases and Webinars
This year, we introduced two major releases:
- Centreon 24.04
- Centreon 24.10
Both releases were accompanied by webinars showcasing their new features and improvements. Starting in 2025, Centreon will shift to a single major release schedule each October, supported by a Long-Term Support (LTS) model. Rest assured, we’ll continue hosting webinars throughout the year to dive into technical features and updates.
A New Tradition: Centreon Summit
We held our first-ever Centreon Summit in 2024, welcoming users to our Paris headquarters. The event was a resounding success, offering attendees the chance to meet the entire Centreon team, including the executive leadership. Plans are already underway for next year’s edition.
Expanding the Reach of Centreon Connect
This year marked a milestone with four Centreon Connect events, including our first ventures outside Paris to Toulouse and Lyon. These gatherings brought together nearly 150 participants from over 100 companies, fostering invaluable face-to-face connections with our teams.
Looking ahead to 2025, we’re adding new cities to the list. Stay tuned, and make sure to register early, spots are limited!
Open Source at Our Core
In 2024, we reaffirmed our open-source roots by publishing the Open Source Manifesto. Haven’t read it yet? Now’s the time to catch up. Open source remains integral to Centreon’s DNA, and we’ll continue to engage in key events next year, including FOSDEM, Capitole du Libre, OW2Con, and the Open Source Experience.
