Error processing hostTemplates.cfg file (2d_coords)

Recently I have imported via CLAPI .cfg configuration files from Nagios to Centreon, when exporting the configuration I got the following error:However when I go to the generated template, I see that it is correctly, in the 2d_coord section the data has been entered.What can this be due to? How can I solve it?

Ensure compatibility between versions of plugins in version 2.8x and 3.4

Hi, Regarding to the title, now we are using the Centeron version 2.8.32.because of the platform migration plan has been taken in action within 2 months.So, we are planing to install Centeron service to the brandnew platform, which is Red Hat Enterprise Linux Server release 7.3 (Maipo).But, we have a certain issue to solve for migration, that is we do not have the package of Centeron version 2.8.32.So that we would like to ask this community to provide us, if there are any certain link to provide us to obtain the Centeron version 2.8.32.or if it is still difficult to provide us such a link, then we need to ensure Centeron package compatibility matching between 2.8.x and Centreon 3.4 as it is described in the compatibility table below the link.Software support policy — Centreon 2.8 documentationBest Regards,

After upgrade from 22.04.7 to 22.10.0 the resource status page is emtpy

Hi there, i just very freshly did the update from 22.04.7 to 22.10.0 on a Centos7-Basis coming from 20.04-ISOs. After this the “Resource Status” is completely emtpy and showing 0 Hosts and 0 Services being set to display “All” - Funy thing though - the deprecated pages work and show all the missing Hosts and Services. please advise asap - thx RegardsTimo

Weird alerting plugin

Hello, I’m posting here because I discovered a weird reaction in the plugin centreon_ups_socomec_netvision_snmpFor example :Context : The inverter has 12% remaining batterySending the following command, /usr/lib/centreon/plugins/centreon_ups_socomec_netvision_snmp.pl --plugin=hardware::ups::socomec::netvision::snmp::plugin --mode=battery  --hostname=ipaddress --snmp-community=community --snmp-version='version' --warning-charge-remaining='80’The answer to this request is “OK”If I change the value of warning-charge-remaining from “80” to “10”, the answer is “Warning”It seems we got a warning alert when the real value of battery is GREATER than the probe set Is anyone already encountered that ?Is there a way to invert the process (to get alarmed when the battery gets under the probe) ? Best Regards

'Add token' button is missing

Hi,It's my first time installing Centreon, I used the rpms to install on a CentOS 7, followed the procedures, get the token, but when I go to Administration->Extensions->Manager, there is no “Add Token” button, only “Update All” and “Install All” buttons, both disabled.I saw at a screenshot, the Add Token and another buttons should be nearby, but there's no other button in my interface.All the Extensions are installed, I tried to uninstall and reinstall License Manager without success.Following troubleshooting, I accessed Administration->Parameters->Centreon UI, used the button “Test Internet Connection”, got the response “Connection Successful”.At /var/log/centreon/license-manager.log I got the following error:2022-11-29 12:27|0|0|[RestUnauthorizedException] https://api.imp.centreon.com/api/license-manager/instance/subscription : Please make sure your request has an Authorization header Another issue, not know if it's related, when I open the Centreon Admin, before login,

Probleme avec OVA sous VMware workstation

I am about to test the upgrae from 21.10 to 22.10 and I’m trying to deploy a VM with the OVA file but when I open centreon-central-21.10.ova under VMware Workstation 16 Pro, I getFailed to read from file: centreon-central-21.10.ovaI also tried with 22.10 ova file and same result Any suggestions ? Thanks in advanceGaetan

Can't access CLAPI /usr/share/centreon/bin/centreon

Hi, Im trying to export my old nagios files with the NagiosToCentreon CLAPI, I’ve alredy export the centreon_clapi_import_commands.txt but when I try to do the command /usr/share/centreon/bin/centreon, I can’t access using my web user admin, I get a invalid credentials message. How can I fix this? I’m COMPLETELY sure I have enter the password correctly (I have tried multiple time in the web and it works) Any idea??Thank you

check_nrpe compatibility with older Linux OS and nrpe clients

Reporting::Get a list of plugins installed but NEVER used

Is there a way, in a EPP-licenced version (or the limited free version), to know which installed plugins are UNUSED?Is there also a way to find a list of all USED plugins?Looking for any hint!What I’m exploring:I’m guessing it may be useful to check the Databases; the config database “centreon” or the information related to performance data in the “centreon_storage” database. But I don’t yet know if any table holds information on plugins.Or maybe their is a simple RestAPI or CLAPI query that could provide information close to what I’m looking for? Resources Status page: search for a string with a space character

Hi,The new Resource Status page use regexp, while this is a good enhancement, it doesn’t permit to search for a string with a space in it. I tried quoting the string (both simple and double), I also tried to use `\s`, none of this works.How can I achieve that?This is something the Monitoring/Services and Monitoring/Hosts pages permit. It’s useful when searching in the plugin output (or even sometimes in the service name).I’m OK to do my best to start using this new Resource Status page (and, to incite my users to do so) but I’d like to have the same functionalities I had with the old ones.

help with developping a plugin : how to use threshold with custom perddata

HelloI launched myself in the full rebuild of an snmp plugin for huawei dorado (san storage) by using Rest API.I did this because I added a “lun” mode to the existing snmp plugin, but as it happens, if you have too many luns the snmp is getting lots timeout, the table is huge and when go over 50 lun/snapshot the plugin never give the information back… after a bit of digging, I found there is a Restful api, and lot more digging I managed to create my own custom api I have an issue with the thing I coded, I cannot get critical or warning alerts when I use for example “--critical-usage-prct=50” on the perfdatahere is the plugin, work in progress : centreon-plugins/luns.pm at master · christophe-activiumid/centreon-plugins (github.com) (btw, anyone feel free to test it in command line if you have a dorado, it needs a read only account, and work for dorado v6 and v5)everything work fine, except threshold...I do need to implement a cache/statefile on this specific lun mode because with the a

21.10 - Database Partitioning not up to date

Hello, Since I upgraded to 21.10, the service ‘Partitioning’ on my server goes critical each 10 days because the database isn’t up to date.I did the partitionning mannually twice using this : https://www.sugarbug.fr/blog/files/troubleshooting-partition-mariadb.htmlLast time I tried adding0 4 * * * centreon /bin/php /usr/share/centreon/cron/centreon-partitioning.php >> /var/log/centreon/centreon-partitioning.log 2>&1to the root user crontab. But today my service ‘warning’ and dates are from 10/02. I also checked the user ‘centreon’ crontab which is empty, I don’t know if it’s normal----Also the freespace on centreon database is 0, I would like to add space (if it’s possible) before it cause issues.---Thank you for your assistance :)

After upgrade from 19.10 to 22.10 the poller not running

Some contacts not getting written to config files on 20.10.18

I recently updated Centreon to 20.10.18. Everything seemed to run fine, until I generated new config files and restarted the poller. I found that many contacts were no longer being included in the config files. I discovered that many contacts had their Enable Notifications (contact_enable_notifications in the database) field set to NULL. These contacts were not included in the configuration files. Setting the Enable Notifications to any of the three values fixed it. Has anyone else hit this? Is it a known bug? I’m not sure how those contacts had their Enable Notifications field set like that.
