Important change on 21.10 package repository

As you probably already know, Centreon 21.10 is not a supported version anymore (more information here).As a consequence, the RPM package repository for this version has been archived: it moved from https://packages.centreon.com/rpm-standard/21.10 to https://archives.centreon.com/standard/21.10.If your platform is still running 21.10 and you need to update it, please update your YUM or DNF repository configuration to handle this change.

Vulnerabilities in Curl CVE-2023-38545 CVE-2023-38546

As you might have heard, 2 vulnerabilities were disclosed on Curl last week.These issues have been undisclosed as CVE-2023-38545 and CVE-2023-38546.These vulnerabilities might have impacts on specific use cases, with specific misconfiguration.Default installation and default use cases should not be impacted.However, we recommend that you update your local package (on pollers and centrals) up to versions 7.69.x or 8.4, depending on your installation.

Error ACL management

Hello everyone,Since upgrading to 24.04.7, I have a problem with ACL management.My non-admin users no longer see the service groups in the detailed services or in the custom views.If I set my user as administrator, I can see the service groups. I've looked at the acl management and resource access is set to all.For testing purposes, I gave my user full rights (he has access to all) but the list of group services remains empty. I've checked that my user is in the right rights group. When I want to reload the ACLs, I get an error message. Thanks for your help

ACL issue - no ressource showed

Hello,I have an issue regarding ACL. I wanted to restrict the ressource view to some users.For information I run a fresh 24.04.07 centreon installation made on a debian 12.Here what I’ve done (following the documentation) :Creation of a “Ressource Access” ACL On tab “Hosts resources” I’ve checked only the host I wanted to display and leave everything by default On tab “Services Resources” I’ve checked “Include all servicegroups” I leave the others tab as default Creation of a “Menu access” ACL I only checked “Home”, “Monitoring” and “Reporting” Creation of a “Action Access” ACL I duplicated the existing “Simple User” ACL and removed some actions like Enable/Disable Notification … I just wanted the users to have a display access. Finally I created an “Access Group” linked with a test user and in the “Authorizations information” tab I selected the 3 ACL I just created.When I log on with my user display limitation are OK but I don’t see any hosts or services.I tried a lot of different

Centreon Autologin : Fullscreen mode

Hello, We are using a Android TV to display the Centreon Monitor view. In Centreon version 24.04, the url parameter `min=1` is not available to display Centreon in full screen without header. But on the AndroidTV we haven’t keyboard connected on it. And the monitor restart all sunday.Is it possible to put again the query parameter `min=1` in the Autologin URL ? Thx

ssue with Centreon Notification Script Timing Out - cURL API Call to OTRS Fails During Automatic Execution

Hello everyone,I’m encountering an issue with a custom notification script in Centreon, and I’m hoping someone here has seen this before or might have some ideas on how to resolve it.The Setup:I’m running a custom notification script that integrates Centreon with an OTRS system. The script sends a cURL request to the OTRS API to check if there is an existing open ticket before creating a new one. The script works perfectly when executed manually from the command line. It sends the request, gets a response from the API, and creates or acknowledges the ticket correctly. Remote poller not updated on db central broker issue?

Hello,I’ve got an issue and don’t know why the status of equipement on remote server is not update on the DB central.From Central:we can see status running yes on my remote server but the PID and last update is not updated… From the remote server:We can see status of the poller and see PID (30856)different than on the central (10342)All monitoring appears only on the web interface of the remote server and not also on the central... When i export the config poller from central, the status is restarted on the remote server as well but not updated on central…I suppected than there is a broker issue where all the communication seems failed from remote server to the central…but the connection is working :log of central-broker-master.log in remote server is not update… but log of remote server is updated with error: any ideas?thank you.

Les services disparaissent de MAP (24.04)

Bonjour,Je suis sur une infra en 24.04 (fresh install) et je rencontre un problème avec MAP et les services.Dans une MAP, je rajoute des hôtes, des services, des hostgroups et des servicegroups, jusque là, pas de soucis.Tout s’affiche comme il faut mais à un moment donnée, qui semble coïncider avec un export de configuration, les services disparaissent de la MAP (tout le reste fonctionne).Si je vais voir en base de données, je vois bien que les services sont toujours attribués à ma MAP mais ils ne s’affichent pas.Si je redémarre le service centreon-map-engine du serveur MAP, ils réapparaissent temporairement jusqu’au prochain export de configuration.J’ai beau reproduire l’erreur et regarder les différents logs que ce soit sur le Central ou le MAP, je ne vois pas d’erreurs particulières.Si vous avez des idées ….

Retrieve host groups with Open Ticket

Hello,we have several host groups per host. We would like to export them via OpenTicket into EasyVista. We have tried parameters such as: {$host.host_group}, {$host.group}, {$service.host_group}, {$host_selected[0].host_group}, {$service_selected[0].host_group} to make them appear in the description on the EasyVista side, but none of them work. Is there a solution to retrieve the host groups of the machines? We also have the option to use lists in OpenTicket. Knowing that only one of the host groups is relevant for ticket entry, we would like to know if filters can allow displaying only the host groups related to the host of the selected service. Best regards.

Bonjour à tous, Je cherche à configurer GLPI sur centreon via API pour créer des tickets directement via l’interface centreon.J’utilise pour cela le module Openticket.La version de mon centreon est en 24.04.6 et celui de mon GLPI est en 10.0.10.J’ai activé l’API sur GLPI et générer les deux tokens ( user et API )J’ai ensuite configuré une règle sur centreon la connexion est OK :  Cependant lorsque je souhaite créer un ticket en utilisant le widget Open ticket il m’est impossible d’en créer un comme si la liaison avec GLPI ne se faisait pas : Si vous pouvez m’aider svp , je bloque dessus depuis 2 jours et je n’arrive pas à solutionner le problème. Je vous remercie d’avance

APIv2 host service template auto creation

Hi,I'm new to Centreon (24.04), and I'm probably missing something.I want to add my host via the API (using Ansible). I managed to do it using this endpoint: /centreon/api/latest/configuration/hosts.The host creation is successful, and it's linked to the correct template, but no services are created.How can I achieve this, similar to the option in the host creation GUI that says "Create Services linked to the Template too"?I've looked everywhere in the API documentation but couldn't find any clues: https://docs-api.centreon.com/api/centreon-web/#tag/Host.Can someone please help?

Centreon 22.04.7 - Curves - Display Only The Legend - not running

Good morning,We noticed that under the Preformance Graphs, the "Display Only The Legend" function in the Curve Definition is not working.All other functions like color or output of values works fine. However, it is not possible to hide a line when the "Display Only The Legend" function is selected.Is there a solution or a workaround for this?Many greetingsMartin

Monitoring VSAN

Hi, we are trying to monitor a vsan-cluster-usage through the centreon_vmware_connector_client.pl plugin. To do this, we have copied the files VIM25VsanmgmtStub.pm and VIM25VsanmgmtRuntime.pm into the same folder where the VIM25Runtime.pm file is located. This has worked for us so far in Centos 7 but when migrating to Debian 11 we get the errorUNKNOWN: Vsan is not enabled in vmware connector.We don't see any difference but it doesn't work correctly.Any ideas? Thanks

Blank page on reports page when selecting a host

Hello,When I select a host on the reports page, an empty page appears. Issue with Upgrading a Custom Module in Centreon: Successful Upgrade but No Changes Applied

 Hello everyone, I hope you're all doing well.I'm following the How to write a module documentation to create a module in Centreon. Everything works fine except when trying to upgrade the module.The documentation mentions that we should have an upgrade path like this: UPGRADE > dummy-x.x > sql > upgrade.sql.I created an UPGRADE folder in /usr/share/centreon/www/modules/traps (module is named traps ) and inside it, I created traps-1.1 > sql > upgrade.sql. The upgrade.sql file contains an SQL query to create a table named test_v11 in the centreon_storage database.In conf.php, I updated 'mod_release' from '1.0' to '1.1'. When I go to Extension > Manager, I see the update button.However, when I click it, I receive an error.I then renamed UPGRADE to upgrade, and when I clicked the update button again, the upgrade showed as successful, but the test_v11 table was not created.​​​​​I also tried updating conf.php to 'mod_release' => '1.2', and again, the update process showe

Hosts Limit.

Hi,I unlinked my IT100 license because i have to register more than 3 servers and 100 hosts.I thought its was possible with the free version ( unlicensed).Now i have one central server and 5+ remote servers. But i cant see more than 99 hosts.That s if i had the number hosts limitation, without the number of remote server limitation.Can someone to confirm its normal, or not ? Thank you

Information refresh problem after upgrade from 23.04 to 24.04

Hi all,Last week I upgraded my Centreon 23.04 open source on Debian 11 to 24.04 (still on Debian 11) and then Mariadb from 10.5 to 10.11 by following the official documentationSince this upgrade, some information seem frozen in the web ui.When I click on the poller menu I have two new lines : “incident on database 1” and “offline poller 1” I have only one poller and it is onlineOn the pollers configuration screen, my poller is still seen on 23.04 version and outdated  On the resources status page, the last control column seems to be stuck at the upgrade date : By the way, the platform is still working as of notifications but I’d like to know what is the problème with those displays errors. Thank you

Disable a service for hosts of a given hostgroup

Hi,On the legacy status page (Monitoring >  Status Details  >  Services)  it is possible to filter on hostgroup and then disable some services. I can’t manage to do it in the Resources Status page, nor in the configuration part of the UI. It’s Centreon Web 23.10.16. Did I miss something or is it a missing feature? I notice a few other actions also are missing, like enable/disable notification.As the legacy pages are supposed (I haven’t check that) to be no more present from 24.04 version, do you confirm those actions have been added to the new interface, or planned to be added in 24.10? I’ve been told the legacy pages wouldn’t be removed until all the functionalities have been ported to the new page but I’d like to have a confirmation before upgrading any plateform.NB: In the example above it would be obviously possible to filter on a service template (assuming a clean templating…) but I had a case recently for which it wasn’t an option. Above is only a dummy example for illustra

Error Attach poller to central

Hello, I have set up a remote poller that I am trying to connect to my central server. Both servers are running Alma OS 8.1, with Centreon version 24.04.5 for the central server and version 24.04.6 for the poller. I followed the documentation to do this, and when I run the command:/usr/share/centreon/bin/registerServerTopology.sh -u <API_ACCOUNT> -t remote -h <IP_TARGET_NODE> -n <REMOTE_SERVER_NAME> --insecurea connection is established.
