Important change on 21.10 package repository

As you probably already know, Centreon 21.10 is not a supported version anymore (more information here).As a consequence, the RPM package repository for this version has been archived: it moved from https://packages.centreon.com/rpm-standard/21.10 to https://archives.centreon.com/standard/21.10.If your platform is still running 21.10 and you need to update it, please update your YUM or DNF repository configuration to handle this change.

Vulnerabilities in Curl CVE-2023-38545 CVE-2023-38546

As you might have heard, 2 vulnerabilities were disclosed on Curl last week. These issues have been undisclosed as CVE-2023-38545 and CVE-2023-38546.These vulnerabilities might have impacts on specific use cases, with specific misconfiguration.Default installation and default use cases should not be impacted. However, we recommend that you update your local package (on pollers and centrals) up to versions 7.69.x or 8.4, depending on your installation.

Cannot get partition information [centreon@centreon-central ~] error

As mentioned, I got this error while trying to do step 4 of the server instructions (step 3.5 in the official documentation: Add a MariaDB table partition. This step is mandatory. Your Centreon server will not work if this isn't done.). I can connect to the web console, but I see a database issue/poller not running:

Superviser la capacité utilisée des disques en Go

Bonjour à tous, J’aimerais avoir votre aide concernant la supervision des disques sur Centreon 24.10.5 avec AlmaLinux 9. Actuellement, les informations sur l’utilisation des disques sont affichées en pourcentage, mais j’aimerais savoir s’il est possible de convertir ces valeurs en Giga Octet (Go) pour une lecture plus claire et une meilleure analyse. L’idée serait de pouvoir superviser directement la capacité utilisée en Go plutôt qu’en pourcentage, afin de mieux évaluer l’état des disques et anticiper les risques de saturation. Si vous avez déjà mis en place ce type de configuration ou si vous connaissez une méthode pour effectuer cette conversion dans Centreon, je serais vraiment preneur de vos conseils ! Migration CentOS 7/22.10 vers Alma 9/24.10.5

Bonjour la communauté, Nous avons effectué une migration de CentOS 7 Centreon version 22.10 vers une distribution Alma 9 Centreon version 24.10.5. Nous avons suivi la procédure Migrer depuis un OS de type EL vers un autre OS de type EL (depuis un Centreon 18.10 ou plus récent) | Centreon Documentation (jusqu’à l’étape 5.8). La migration semble s’être bien déroulée. Cependant, en s’authentifiant sur la page aucun résultat s’affiche. Or, dans la partie Configuration\Hôtes\Hôtes ou Configuration\Services\Services par hôte des éléments y figurent. Dans la partie Collecteurs, le collecteur Central. Nous n’avons pas désinstallé les agents précédemment installés pour la version 22.10 (environnement Windows). Serait-il possible d’avoir une aide ? Merci à toute la communauté.

Best strategy to deploy standard commands and templates to a centreon

I have multiple Centreon instances and wanted to provide a standard configuration to my instances. Currently i am making use of the CLAPI v1 and was considering using the API REST as it seem to be the target now, but as what i want to deploy is provided as a rolling release, i’m wondering if there is a better way to provide commands and templates in a standard way in “readonly” mode and to update them as i roll updates. I wish to deploy that as i deploy configuration files through rpm packages, my hope is that there is some kind of config.d folder that i could make use of to deploy my files so they are added to the available commands and services. Anyone making this kind of updates ?

Problem with centreon gorgoned centreon 24.10.5

Hello, i’ve an issue withe connectivity between centreon central and a remote poller with the 24.10.5 version. My central can reach the remote poller with tcp port 5556 From cental, a netstat command we can see Fin wait, it’ seems that the client initiale a connection to the remote server but don’t have received the reponse that the connection is established. From the remote server: we can see a lot of established connection to the central… Normally i have other remote server, and normally there is only one connection, but not a lot as the screenshot. Architecture: CI-remote <--> FW customer ==VPN== FW IT↔ Central We have open all rules on each FW temporary to analyse but the connection is not permanent…. Actually, when i export config throw the Web interface, the files generated are not moved on the server remote, i’have issue Handshake Timeout the remote server id =5 the central id=1 Could someone explain my which commands are running when the export is done i hope i can see error di

Is it possible to put a remote server after an other one ? PROBLEM URGENT

I am installing a distributed architecture for my centreon. I have a central centreon and I need to install a remote server on it (maybe in Proxy mode) and finally pollers in different locations The IP addresses of the central server, remote server and pollers are in different network ranges and are connected by VPNs. The VPNs allow traffic on all ports from Central to Remote and from Remote to Poller. this would be the architecture I have followed the steps in this post. But I have checked everything and I can't detect the problem. Restart broker 24.10 on remote server

Central server gets updated as not running when initializing a remote

Hello, I'm trying to setup a Centreon infrastructure with a Central server and a Remote one. I’m using these versions: Centreon version 24.10 Running on Debian 12 Remote databases I'm following the documentation. At the last step from Attach a remote server to a central server - when running: systemctl restart cbd centengine The processes are restarted on the remote server, the web UI shows the remote as running (green),BUT the central server is set to "not running" (red) at the same time. The processes are still running on the Central server. When restarting the services on the Central serveur, the status is back to "running" (green). I haven't seen anything relevant in the logs to explain this. How hide "Hole Punch Box" in MarkerSupply service

Hello, I need help figuring out how to exclude data from a service.I'd like to hide the "Hole Punch Box" from monitoring the "MarkerSupply-Usage" service.To do this, I was thinking of using the EXTRAOPTIONS --filter command. However, I can't find the right syntax for this to work properly.I've tried a lot of different things, e.g.: --filter '^(?!Hole Box Punch$)'--filter '.*Cart.*' Do you have any ideas, please? Error while upgrading poller from 23.10 to 24.1

Hello,I have received below error as i am upgrading my poller from 23.10 to 24.04. Error: Transaction test error: file /usr/1ib64/1ibmariadb.so.3 from install of mariabd-connector-c-3.1.11-2.e18x86 64 conflicts with file from package MariaDB-shared-10.5.16-1.e17.centos.x86_64 What should be done. Centreon Update is stuck on "Congratulations, you have successfully upgraded to Centreon version 24."

Hello guys, Everytime I try to update to a newer version of Centreon starting from Centreon 24.04.4 to a newer version, the update gets stuck on "Congratulations, you have successfully upgraded to Centreon version 24.04.11”. The page that it’s stuck on What I have tried so far: I try to update to version 24.10 after to see if it resolved the problem (which it didn’t ) I checked the storage, there is still plenty. I checked that all the services required were at the right version and started. (but I could have missed one) In the installation process I get prompted those lines : chmod: cannot access '/var/cache/centreon/config/engine/*': No such file or directorychmod: cannot access '/var/cache/centreon/config/broker/*': No such file or directory So i’m wondering if it could be a rights attribution problem. Also when I click the finish button I get prompted for a quarter of a second the following: The error that gets displayed But it could be unrelated. Do you guys have any ideas about w

Lost acknowledge/downtime when changing poller

Hello. Is it possible to retain acknowledges or downtimes applied to services or hosts when changing a host to another poller? I’m in the process of moving hosts from my old CentOS pollers to new Oracle Linux pollers and this is lost after changing the poller. I’m moving in small batches to check possible problems with the checks in the new pollers before moving the whole lot to the new one. Regards Enrique

vCenter vSphere 8 compatibility with Centreon

Hello guys, has anyone here using vCenter vSphere 8 with Centreon? Our current vCenter will be upgraded to vSphere 8 soon. We want to make sure that Centreon would be able to monitor vCenter (vSphere 8), the ESXs inside it and the VM hosts residing in it. Remote server running on Central but not displayed running on the Remote Side

Hi, (Sorry in advance for my English) I’m trying to link a Remote Server on a Central both behind a firewall. Everything is Working (i can supervise some equipement on the remote network) but the Poller on the Remote is still displayed as “Central” and not running. On the Central side, everything is working and the Remote is displayed as working and updating. Is this an issue on the Remote ? Thank you in advance for your help.

Bonjour à tous, Je passe l’upgrade de Centreon 23.10 vers 24.04, tout se passait bien, jusqu’à la MAJ de MariaDB 10.5 vers 10.11, je suis bien le tuto étape par étape, je mets bien mon repo à jour:dnf config-manager --add-repo https://packages.centreon.com/rpm-standard/24.04/el9/centreon-24.04.repo et quand je passe la commande:dnf install MariaDB-server-10.11\* MariaDB-client-10.11\* MariaDB-shared-10.11\* MariaDB-compat-10.11\* MariaDB-common-10.11\* Il me met: Errors during downloading metadata for repository 'packages.centreon.com_rpm-standard_24.04_el8_centreon-24.04.rep': il manque le o de .repo ! je pense que l’erreur de vient de là, comment y remédier ? Merci
