Important change on 21.10 package repository

As you probably already know, Centreon 21.10 is not a supported version anymore (more information here).As a consequence, the RPM package repository for this version has been archived: it moved from https://packages.centreon.com/rpm-standard/21.10 to https://archives.centreon.com/standard/21.10.If your platform is still running 21.10 and you need to update it, please update your YUM or DNF repository configuration to handle this change.

Vulnerabilities in Curl CVE-2023-38545 CVE-2023-38546

As you might have heard, 2 vulnerabilities were disclosed on Curl last week.These issues have been undisclosed as CVE-2023-38545 and CVE-2023-38546.These vulnerabilities might have impacts on specific use cases, with specific misconfiguration.Default installation and default use cases should not be impacted.However, we recommend that you update your local package (on pollers and centrals) up to versions 7.69.x or 8.4, depending on your installation.

Cannot install generic SNMP Monitoring Connector (IT-100)

Hello, I’m running Centreon 24.04.5 and when I try to install Generic SNMP monitoring connector, nothing happens. The other connectors are installed without a problem. I don’t know how to troubleshoot this problem. I sometimes have the following error message in the UI when trying to install connector : “Gateway timeout : The gateway did not receive a timely response from the upstream server or application”. When I try to browse to https://api.imp.centreon.com/api/pluginpack/pluginpack/applications-protocol-snmp , I get the following error : Endpoint not found. Could anybody help me please?

Centreon Engine 23.10.13

Hi,I see Centreon Engine version 23.10.13 being available in the repository for RHEL 8 but I find no release notes for it. Also, I find nothing in the Github from the commit indicated in the description from de RPM package.I see a release note for Centreon Collect dated december the 19th, from the description I understand that Broker and Engine, and the connectors (?!) have been grouped under this new name. Is that correct?Why such a oddly choice? Why Gorgone had not been included also then?What can you tell about that, or can you lead me to some documentation on the implications of this reorganisation of the software suite?

Hi ! I have a question for you :) Our Centreon version is in very older version and we can’t upgrade OS which is also obsolete ! (Centos 7).The alone solution that we have is to create a new OS (debian bookworm for example) and install latest version from Centreon.My question is : Is it possible to import configuration generate by Centreon v19.04 to import in v24.X.X ?In the import will be present : Hosts , Host templates, Hosts group, Host categories, Services, Service templates, Service groups, Service categories,ContactsCommandsResourcesTo sum up, all without poller. I think, it is not recommended to import the poller in this case.Thank you in advance to your future answer ! :) Yann

ACL issue - no ressource showed

Hello,I have an issue regarding ACL. I wanted to restrict the ressource view to some users.For information I run a fresh 24.04.07 centreon installation made on a debian 12.Here what I’ve done (following the documentation) :Creation of a “Ressource Access” ACL On tab “Hosts resources” I’ve checked only the host I wanted to display and leave everything by default On tab “Services Resources” I’ve checked “Include all servicegroups” I leave the others tab as default Creation of a “Menu access” ACL I only checked “Home”, “Monitoring” and “Reporting” Creation of a “Action Access” ACL I duplicated the existing “Simple User” ACL and removed some actions like Enable/Disable Notification … I just wanted the users to have a display access. Finally I created an “Access Group” linked with a test user and in the “Authorizations information” tab I selected the 3 ACL I just created.When I log on with my user display limitation are OK but I don’t see any hosts or services.I tried a lot of different

Widget - "Order by" function doesn't work with hosts

Hello,After creating a Host-monitoring type widget, it seems that the “Order By” function doesn’t work.Be it with the IP address, duration...etc..Whatever the parameter I chose, weither it’s by ascending or descending order, the order of the Hosts that are displayed never changes.The function works fine with services though.Does anyone encountered this issue ? Can anyone help, please ?Thank you in advance for your kind help and advices.

Je vois bien l‘idée de rendre plus lisible, et heureusement lorsque l’on copie/colle à l’aide du bouton c’est le bon contenu qui est copié, mais un utilisateur, notamment un nouvel utilisateur, peut avoir le réflexe de copier/coller en effectuant une sélection à la souris, et là et bien la commande est erronée. Un exemple : La commande réelle à titre de comparaison :

Centreon 24.10 : data_bin values missing after purge and partitionning.

Hello All.I recently noticed that after the execution of /etc/cron.d/centstorage, no more values are written in the table data_bin. Graphs of Centreon are ok though. Older values are not deleted.Restarting the service CBD solves the problem until the next cron.Both commands (centstorage_purge.php at 2 am, and centreon-partitioning.php at 4 am) produce the same issue so I added the command ‘systemctl restart cbd’ at 2:5 am and 4:5 am. /var/log/centreon/centreon-partitioning.log, /var/log/centreon/centreon-purge.log and journalctl don’t show any error.All was fine before Centreon 24.10.Any idea ?
